Exactly Ceri, one can often find compelling aspects with the most unlikely people. What does this say about similar aspects with people whom we have relationships with? How significant are these aspects then? Should we be basing life decisions on these? I mean noting close aspects puts us in a positive frame of mind, it has a placebo effect, as it were, and actualizes the positive things indicated. The reverse also is true. I think there is a lesson to be learnt - Do not allow astro readings to affect how we relate to people in our lives - the astro chart is only a limited view. IP: Logged |

Oh I think th rules in astrology are consistent, even if you are looking "just" at the synastry with a celebrity. Of course for it to have mutual "meaning", both people would need to be aware of the other`s existance, as long as they didn`t meet at least once, it might be only the one person aware of it. This one person however would feel it just like I would feel the connections with any other person I know of. The reasons why the attraction fro me is not there are simple:
° he doesn`t reflect enough of my 5th house attraction pattern (especially not the Cappy/ Saturn vibe) ° he does not reflect my 8th house needs either (it is there a little, but apparently not enough, again it boils down to the Saturnian part of it) ° even more importantly he doesn`t touch my angles, especially not the ASC-DSC-axis (his Sun is on the midpoint of my MC-IC though) ° he doesn`t touch my nodal axis ° he doesn`t touch my Vertex axis either, including my Sun/Moon-mp ° his Mars is on my VenusMars-mp though, so I might reconsider should I ever met him coincidentally However the very coincidence that I even thought of checking our synastry (there are certainly much more likely celbrities I would check a synastry with), probably shows that something suddenly resonated with me
° hsi pr Sun is actually exactly conjunct my pr Vertex at the moment
° his pr Uranus and Pluto are opposite my pr Jupitr °his pr Jupiter conjunct my natal Vertex exact ° my pr Moon is precisely conjunct his natal Sun And I guess that sums it up.

of course as I just realize there are a gazillion quindeciles there. LOLhis Sun - my Sun/Moon-mp and Antivertex his Mars - my Mars, ASC, Venus his Jupiter - my Sun, MErcury his NN - my SN I am just playing around, maybe I should stop that now. EDIT: Actually thinking on it the very fact that I am having a pretty little collection of his films (from collecting years ago, really, YEARS ago) might lead people to think, even if not now, I might have been a little bit intrigued with him in the past. I guess people might not be wrong to think that. enough of that already. Time to get back into my present life and things I REALY have to deal with. Avoidance pattern made itself felt again. In every likelihood we don't and cannot interface (for want of a better word) with all the people we've had links with in past lives or have links with on account of being part of the same soul group. I could stretch the "soul group" concept to include people with similar life aims. There must be hundreds of these people around! So, if astrology is to be believed, could this celebrity have one of those links wth you? IP: Logged |

Another one? Well, as you said it, we have links to probably very many people, we cannot ever meet in this life, and who are maybe not part of our "present incarnation script". Maybe he is part of my very very extended soulgroup. He DID play a certain part for me, in delivering two films to the doorstep of my consciousness. Sometimes that is all our soulmates or soulgroupmemebers or members of the human race are supposed to. I consider Robert Downey Jr of the same calibre, delivering one or several films and sequences and lines that I "needed" to hear and take in at a certain time (since he did that, I am sure I can eventually forgiv him for trying to kill me once in a dream - actually that became the trigger, though it was meshed with other things later on, for one of my most startling short stories I ever wrote, and coincidentially one I even liked myself, which made me start questioning the sanity of my mind - and that was one hell of a sentence, wasn`t it? ) IP: Logged |

Who's to say you wouldn't be into each other if you met, just because they're famous? Attraction is attraction!I've had the experience of doing someone mildly famous's chart for fun, and being like "wow, if we met we would totally love each other".. then running into them! I was dying inside laughing at the cosmic joke, but the attraction was definitely there. He was only in town for a couple days, but we ran into each other again randomly. That's intense synastry for you.. people end up like little magnets. Unfortunately he has a girlfriend/future wifey :'( STILL waiting for the day I run into Paul Walker.. I trust in our synastry.. one day.. come to me Paul IP: Logged |

Oh I definitely think there is just as much potential to be attracted to a celebrity if you meet them than there is with anybody else. It is just that I am really not into John Cusack. Though I do like him, or rather some of his films. I was quite blown away when I saw Jude Law on stage though. While there was always "something" about him, as a gazillion threads here testify - lol-, and may I add that I was absolutely enraged by that fact that there was "something about him"-, well, I was pretty gobsmacked at how physically raw his stage-presence was, how energetic, I certainly did not expect that.
