Well, I've always been told I could have been a detective. I've been told this my whole life by many, many people, and I think I could have been one if I had wanted to choose that as a career. At one point I actually seriously concidered a career in forensics, but chose a different path. Those traits have just always come naturally to me, so I thought I'd check my chart to see what it might show.I plugged in these asteroids: 5049 Sherlock 5477 Holmes 7366 Agata 228 Agathe 129564 Christy 7527 Marples The spelling for Agatha Christie was off, but it's close enough I think. You can use other detective related asteroids. Those are just the ones that I chose to check. Here's what I got. First thing I noticed was Marples right on my Ascendant 0°. Asc is Cancer 24.24 and Marples is 24.25. Miss Marple is Agatha Christie's most famous female detective. Agathe is in my 1st house, trine my Midheaven. Agata is in my 6th house (work, daily routine and details) forming a T-Square opposite my Sun/Venus 0°, and square my Moon/Pluto 0°. My Moon/Pluto is in my Virgo 3rd house, so more work, daily routine, attention to detail stuff going on there. Christy is 2 ° opposite my 3rd House Moon/Pluto, 2° Square Agata, and 2° square my Sun/Venus. My Sun/Venus is also conjunct Sherlock 0°, so I have a Grand Cross with Sun/Venus/Sherlock opposite Agata which squares Christy opposite Moon/Pluto in Virgo 3rd house. Then, lastly, Holmes is conjunct my Psyche 1°, also in Virgo and square my Sag Vertex 0°. As well as Pluto in the 3rd house, I also have Mercury square Uranus 1°, with Uranus being the ruler of my 8th house. I think that helps me notice things that others may not notice as quickly because I do seem to have a knack for looking at things in an unusual way. I can think outside the box, deeply. Hmmm, actually... this explains a lot. So, it would probably be good for a detective to have aspects that link Mercury or Mercury ruled houses like Gem and Virgo, 3rd or 6th house or those ruled by Mercury in their chart for thought and attention to detail linking up with Pluto, 8th house, or the ruler of their 8th house for depth of thought. Throw in some Uranus, Aquarious, 11th house, for being able to see things in a different light, think outside the box, originality of thought. Those ingredients would probably bake a pretty good detective cake.
