18932The story of Robinhood is usually abbreviated or shortened as that he stole from the rich and gave to the poor but the actual story states that he robbed Tax Collectors and then gave it to the poor which is a very important detail that people miss. Tom Woods:

Robin Hood is a folkloric figure so there are many different stories about him. In a lot of stories he is much more violent-tempered and hierarchical than in his modern incarnation, and the part about him "stealing from the rich and giving to the poor" wasn't considered vital to his character until relatively late in his folklore: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_Hood#New_characters_and_new_attributes_for_RobinRobin Hood conjunct AC (4S)

^ I understand that older tellings of Robin Hood are varied, I am just pointing out that earlier folklore wasn't about stealing from the rich and giving to the poor and more about him stealing from the tax man and giving to the poor. Variations on the tale does not invalidate the point.IP: Logged |

Taxed enough already is a problem that has persisted throughout time and continues to rear its ugly head.
I have Robinhood in the 8TH conjunct Rhea&Buda(ge),halfsquare Venus & Transpluto(le),Square to ParsFortune Armstrong,Apollon&Signe,Trioctile Eva&Gutemberga(sc),opposite the GC & Asporina(Exact)Devosa&Iris. Also Trioctile Chariklo&Damocles(aq) and Halfsq Glauke,Arne(ta).
On the advice of my heart I have had to learn to avoid policy wars. Fighting tooth
& nail to live in peace and keep half of what we earn is what I call a PITA(not pocket bread). It is however an important fight.

For me, Robin Hood takes direct, decisive action against the ultra-wealthy who amass huge profits at others' expense and contribute nothing to the country (i.e., modern capitalists and the 1 percent). The thing is that when you take away 90% of profit from the most productive members of society that you call the "capitalist evil rich" they will lose incentive to earn and will no longer have the capital to produce more jobs and worse will have to lay off a bunch of people resulting in even more people depending on the government and being out of jobs. But if Bernie Sanders wins and that gets passed the super rich will end up establishing their businesses in other countries to stay open.If you are a millionaire or multimillionaire and 90% of your income after you earn just 250,000 dollars is taken from you by the government that would lead to a lot of people losing their jobs, companies closing down and no more jobs being created and people will not feel any incentive to making more than $250,000 making competition go down so quality goes down too and prices will go up. When something sounds too good to be true is bc it is. The problem with capitalism is government interference and bail out or corporatism and so the problem is Crony Capitalism bc we dont truly have Capitalism right now: "Crony capitalism is a term describing an economy in which success in business depends on close relationships between business people and government officials. It may be exhibited by favoritism in the distribution of legal permits, government grants, special tax breaks, or other forms of state interventionism." Anyone who becomes president will play a role in Crony Capitalism as that is why they were allowed to make it that far in the first place. IP: Logged |

I don't think Bernie will be elected,(TG) but it is likely we are moving straight from crony or pseudo- capitalism to corporate
socialism REGARDLESS. If the gov confiscated all money from everyone it could not pay the debt, so who owns the gov and who wants to own a hemorrhaging entity determined to kill all productivity.
