Chiron (wound that doesn't heal) conjunct Psyche (your soul, your inner child, the child you actually were) is actually not a great thing, meaning that your soul/inner child/younger self is/was eternally wounded. I could say more if I knew the sign and house position
.. the trine to ASC, on the other hand, is actually a good aspect though but I dont know what it might mean

Perhaps pain that has touched your deep soul and you can see the nature of the pain by the house of Chiron.
The trine the ASC is that you could make use of the pain in a good way in your daily life.---maybe help people who have suffered the same pain.

My chiron trines the ASC and I seem to do that. I don't try. It just seems to happen.
