I have never been to Las Vegas.I have never been to New York. I have never been to Mexico. I have never been to Europe. I am often called "Dude", yet I never call others "Dude". I use the word "Like", several times per day. I don't wear tye-dye. I don't drink wine. I like to listen to the wind in the trees. Sometimes I wear flowers in my hair. I am being silly. And I don't care. Yet, I am a Californian. I try to buy products grown here in California. All work and no play makes Jovette a dull girl.    IP: Logged |

 There's a commercial here in Ca. where all these people say, "I've never done this or that", etc. and then they all say that they try to buy products made here in CA. Clint Eastwood is in it, because he's the mayor of Carmel, and Jack Nicholson is in it, and at the end, he says "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy".So I was just being silly, imitating it. Well, I don't know if you still post here since this was written awhile ago. But I was born and raised in LA, too.I'm surprised you have never been to LV or NYC, though. I've visited the former twice (everyone I know has) and plan to move to the latter in the future, where my older cousins already live. Products made in CA tend to be more expensive than those made in China.  IP: Logged |
