I have a doubt that is this true that if you cut your hair on New Moon they grow rapidly or is it the full time between NewMoon and Full Moon and vice versa.IP: Logged |

It's always worked for me. When I trim it on a New Moon it grows about an inch that month. When I cut it on a Full Moon it really doesn't grow at all.

I always thought it was the full moon and read that the full moon was when alot of celebrities got their hair cut so it would grow (according to top salons in NYC). BUT then everyone here corrected me that it was the new moon, so I stood corrected. BUT- I do have to say I got my hair cut on the full moon (before correction here) and it grew sooo much, it's so long now. And I have yet to test out the theory of the new moon, although I do trust those here who told me that.------------------ Food is the only art that nourishes! IP: Logged |

Hi All!I firmly believe in this and have practiced it for a couple of years now. Cutting on the full moon makes your hair grow thicker and on the new moon longer. If I coloured my hair and I don't want it to grow out quickli I always cut on the full moon. I only cut a tiny bit off and that seems to do the trick. IP: Logged |

Actually, it is the waning and waxing of the moon. Cut hair during the waxing phase to make it grow. Waxing is from New Moon to Full Moon. Cutting hair during the waning moon will curb growth. This is right after the Full Moon working toward New Moon. Also, this works for shaving legs, mowing the lawn, trimming weeds, etc. So, just remember, waxing is working toward the light and waning is working from the light.
