its been happening pretty much at least once a day lately, but all of a sudden for no apparent reason i get really hot. especially at thre back of my neck and face, its like im sunburnt, even when its freezing cold. it's really weird...i dont really feel sick when it happens just ...well not good either, just sort of dizzy and lathargic (sp?). it passes after a while and then i feel cold.

has anyone here had that experience? should i get it checked out? its nothing serious i just wanted to find out your opinion on it.

Are you taking any supplements? Niacin causes this, but it's harmless.

but no i dont take that...i pretty much take zinc once in a while to clear my skin and thats it...

how old are you? are you sure these aren't menopausal or hormonal in some sort? just wondering if they're hot flashes.

I got hot flashes in my early 30's believe it or not!!! now I'm in my late 30's and I don't get them.

Yes! I don't get any breakouts but if you take zinc for about a week your skin will be luminous. Shouldn't do it too often, just once in while when you really need it. Wedding, prom, reunion, etc.
Sorry to take this off your topic moonat, but us chicks have got to share this sort of info. I though it sounded like niacin overload too. Strange. Have you seen a doctor?

ya i just take it once a month so i dont get horrible skin during my time of the month lol

im 15...no havent seen a doctor i thought maybe it was just me cos my body heats up pretty quickly, like in winter i'm never cold and stuff...i donno...??
