Some of you say that in the sea most fish would be eaten anyway and that most fish eat other fish. It seems that therefore it's not a big deal to eat fish.

But aren't fish our brothers and sisters, too? Aren't they made of flesh and blood? Don't they breathe? Are we supposed to justify our action of eating fish simply because they consume other fish?

Fish should be allowed to swim in the water freely, without being wounded by wicked, unenlightened humans, without grasping for air (in their case, water), without bleeding to death. Do you see them as at a lower level of the animal kingdom? You presume that they don't feel pain? That they don't sense fear when captured? Do you actually believe that we ought to fry them? Do you think they are second-class just because they don't have a voice?

How long must we allow more killing to go on before it's too late? If you sincerely empathise with other animal brothers and sisters, why do you forsake our fish brothers and sisters? Remember, the very reason why we should stop this madness of flesh-eating once and for all is because animals are not merely animals. They are living beings like you and me. They can feel (pain, as well as friendliness from a human being), they can love (have you heard some poignant stories about them which are fine examples?), they're souls.

Why eating fish and fowl for another five years when you can quit flesh now and start a new, better life without being against your conscience? Time has changed. Your body certainly can adjust to a vegetarian or vegan diet at once ( a fruitarian diet is something else) should you have the right information to rely on. Don't be afraid to jump. Think about the fact that you've been eating your brothers and sisters for all your life, think about the fact that you've been directly or indirectly tormenting their souls for all your life (you fellows should see the brutal and bloody factory farming cruelty). Think hard.

Do you still want to be part of this?

Welcome! I never said we should eat fish--just that it is a big stretch for such an ecology to adjust so drastically.
