I'm trying this tonight, although I was supposed to start earlier. I'm not sure that I'll be able to stomach 2-1/2 cups coconut, but I've eaten 1/4 of the amount I need to eat tonight. Ugh.

Has anyone else tried something like this? When I finally finish the coconut meals (porridge and macaroons), I need to wait two hours and have an epsom salt drink (ew). I then need to have another one before bed, each one followed by a full glass of water.

I'm already struggling to keep this lot of coconut down, and am also craving oven chips made with spices, fried egg and vinegar! The last thing I want to eat is more coconut. I keep telling myself that it will be over tomorrow morning, and then I can eat what I like (burritos with lots of hot sauce, hot tea with milk and sugar, lemon cake, orzo salad... cripes).

Goodness teasel. I never heard of it. Do you eat the preflaked package coconut?

What parasites are you planning on shedding?

I'm using unsweetened flaked coconut, and I'm not sure about the parasites. I've had this digestive problem for almost three years now (although dad thinks it's mostly due to stress), so I thought I'd try it.

I'm just being a wuss. I don't usually have the discipline to go through with a cleanse, so I'd like to see this through just for the satisfaction, but I don't know if I'm going to make it. I've eaten a lot of hot sauce over the years, and vinegar, and wouldn't think that they could exist in that environment.

I drank a bit of a smoothie with colostrum in it this morning, and have yet to throw up, but I tried that before and it didn't last long.

Not a fan of lots of coconut. It seems to be difficult to swallow (lots of chewing). It's without texture. But if you toast it/brown it, it is delicious. I could eat that all day!

I put a little coconut oil in coffee a while ago, I felt like I had glass in my stomach.

Love putting it on my face and using it as an alternative to hand lotion too.

And not in my hair ever again, my hair gets oily in 24 hours after showering.
