Topic: Clearing Negative Energy from One's Personal Space

When one is around such negative energy as I am at my job, how do I clear it and not make it my own?As a Pisces this is always very, very difficult and I struggle always to rid myself of what is not really mine. All the obvious I do, shower, meditate, get in wind when I can, eat healthy and light, drink water... I am stumped! thanks! t~~~ IP: Logged |

Before you leave for the day, "zip up" with your hand from the pubic bone to the chin and then "throw" the hand away to the side. Do this 3x to close your energy to others'.

Last weekend I saged some rooms in the house for the first time. And I watched some videos on how to do it first. Yes, it's the "Zip Up" from "Energy Medicine" by Donna Eden.
I also think, simple as this is, you can even just DECIDE very strongly to not be affected by others' energies. A healer I had told me to "become like Teflon" to others' negativity which is now really easy to do and works really well.
It also has to do with not being co-dependent and "taking on" people's stuff, and being personally empowered enough to get that people's opinions of you don't matter.
I don't think I've ever heard about "diamonds cleansing the aura"! Maybe that's another subconscious reason why I wear so many. ------------------

Thank you all so much!I have struggled with this my entire life, finally be-coming concious to it in my 20's. At 50 I still cant figure out how to "fix" it! I will try all the suggestions. Stawr, I had to smile at the diamond mention. My granny gifted to me, upon her passing a diamond dinner ring my grandpa had made for her. It is worth bucks and I wear it daily...atleast my granny is always with me and she was a Scorpio, a bad a$$ for her day. I am sure she is working from the other side to help clear my aura! thanks again... t~ ps going to get some sadge sumdge today and clear the house for Sahmain

You are a psychiatric nurse, is that right? (My mom had been a nurse and a brother had a nurse-wife. I LOVE nurses!!!)
Well, you are to be commended for your work, AND that is "Big League" energy to be clearing!
My feeling is these techniques have to be done daily, for you (for everyone, really; but especially for you! ).
Plus, I think the "staying un-co-dependent" stuff would be vital for you, too. You are there to serve, NOT take it on.
Walking outside helps.
Oh, I LOVE that you are wearing granny's diamonds!!! LOVE that. (I would think diamonds also DEFLECT energy, too. Just my intuition there. They are very hard.)

Well, I am an ICU nurse, tho that includes psych patients..alot! Especially the suicide attempts, well mostly feigned attempts. If you are sick enough to make it to an ICU in San Antonio, you often dont make it out. SO, while the patients who are very ill are OK with their almost eminent passing, the families are not, often... Yea, my granny, a very strong willed Scorpio, told me years ago, when I was a teenager I think, that the ring was to be mine. I poo-pooed her off like she would never die, which she did not till I was 48. I think she knew I would always need protection... I feel her sense of protection and guidance. There is something that follows me around in the wee hours of the morning..I am sure it is her. As a Pisces sun and Scorp asc she always understood her trippy little grand daughter, which no others, espeically my Virgo mom, could. I am going to print this thread and hang it on my mirror so that in the morning I can remember to employ these techniques. Again, thank you all so much!!! IP: Logged |

Ah, so you are dealing with DEATH-energy, which is the "Big-gest League" energy of all time!
My feeling is that you have to be very clear that "It's OK for you to go, it's OK for me to stay".
When my father died, I could literally feel him pulling me WITH him! (I had read about this in a book by Sondra Ray.) We had a VERY close and co-dependent relationship.
I ran my hand a few inches from the front and back of my body, along the line of the chakras, and chanted out loud, "It's OK for you to go, it's OK for me to stay!" (The hand in front of the chakras "cuts" the energetic tie--not the father/daughter love tie, but the pulling me with him tie). When it got more intense, I laid down on the bathroom floor and ran my hand by the front of my body/chakras, up and down, and chanted it.
It REALLY worked! (I'm still here! ) The energy passed rather quickly.
People are OFTEN claimed by other peoples' death urges, especially in families.

And what I said in an earlier post about co-dependency applies here, too. It IS OK for someone to go, and for you to stay; and you have to know that.
And, yes, family members make it harder for the person to go if they are not clear on it and are hanging on to them. (I had excellent support/guidance and was able to privately tell my dad [he was in a coma after a stroke] that it was OK for him to go, that we would be OK. I knew he was hanging on to take care of me. He scowled and did not like hearing it, but I emphasized that it was OK, that I/we would be OK now and that he had done a great job. He had a VERY peaceful passing.)
Clearing is a constant job.

You, my dear, are amazing, too.
I am sure you will say whatever is appropriate in each situation. The clear and firm boundary just needs to be set with the energy. (I was at home in the bathroom when this energy came on, I was not physically with my dad at the time. I did tell him at his bedside that he could go and we'd all be fine.)
I never feel like I've done "enough" clearing, either, by the way; and I am not contending with the energies you are on a daily basis. I think it's a pretty common feeling.
SO glad all my studies/experiences can be helpful!

THAKN YOU Stawr!Both of you are truely amazing! The last paragraph answered my question, about having to clear my ring after being at work, like now... But it seems as tho, they dont need clearing or energizing cause they are so cool themselves. You know, my latest relationship ending has been the easiest ever, not that I wanted to do it, I love the guy, but his issues and treatment of me forced me, to make the best decision I could. I do recall being told that diamonds MAGNIFY energy, which is also mentioned in that link. (I am an entertainer, so I definitely want my presence "magnified"! LOL!!! )
Interesting that your breakup was easier, hippi. Could very well be that the diamonds deflected the energy (yay! lol), and that you are more in touch with your spiritual self, who knows it was for the best and there is better to come.

Diamond is my birthstone.I have Ruby diamond earrings, and a citrine necklace with amethyst and diamond studs on it. That is very cool about diamonds being beneficial to your performing DiamondGoddess! Yesterday I started wearing magniste earrings, I really like what I've experienced wearing them so far. I'm definitely more of a people person when I wear them. haha btw, my sister and I began a gem stone blog...I'm working on an article right now for Amethyst. I plan on talking about in the blog, the healing properties, and it's influence in old cultures, and my own personal experiences when I wear them, and about ways to charge and cleanse them.
Since I am a part time worker and student, my goal is to post a new entry every other week. But when I publish the article I plan on putting the blog link in my LL signature. IP: Logged |

"Black diamond" is a grounding stone, if memory serves.
There is magic in the whole way gemstones are formed.
(Well, I have Capricorn Sun at the Midheaven and Taurus Rising, so I WOULD say that! LOL!!!)
We may as well amplify our "good vibrations" however we can, and jewels are definitely one of the more fun ways to do that.
BTW--I only wear jewels in gold. Silver for whatever reason is a big "ugh!" to me, and platinum is too "cold" and never buffs back to it's original shine.
Tip--The BEST jewel cleaner I have found is that red jar by Connisseurs that's in most drugstores for about $7. I don't know what's in it, but even the gold shines like new! Ultrasonic cleaners will shake any loose stones out (I've had that happen!) so I stay away from them.
I've also heard that wearing gold rings will prevent arthritis, which I believe.
The Egyptians were very advanced and they wore TONS of gold against the skin.------------------

I put my first post in the Gem Energy blog last night. Right now Sunday is my day for blogging. I started two weeks ago on a Sunday, and finished up yesterday. My next post will be on Amber. My sister and I decided, that we would post a new one every other week. She would post one, one week, and I would post one the next week, and we would keep switching off and take turns. Very cool! I don't know much about black diamonds. Not much info out there about them. I remember thinking that would be pretty bad @$$ if black diamonds existed. I love gold too! My skin is sensitive. Gold is the only thing I can wear in my ears with out them getting infected. Even silver necklaces make my skin break out if I wear it too long.
Yeah now that I'm starting to wear nicer jewelry I should probably invest in some jewelry cleaner. ------------------

protect yourself before going to work-smudge in the parking lot even- pisces are psychic sponges, we absorb everything around us for sure. do you remove your work clothes at work and maybe shower before you leave work letting the negative go down the drain?

yeah work and school are really taking a toll on me...
The language class I'm taking is really whooping my butt.I get so annoyed when people at work ask me to take their shift. With that class it's like ugh....come on I already have enough on my plate. Yesterday was rough and had my anxiety high.
The stones I've been wearing I never charge and cleansed them...inconveniently in my online research it says to charge them in clear quartz. I can tell they need to be cleansed and recharged...don't have time to buy any with my stupid work and school hours. So today I just said that's it, and saged them and saged myself a little.
