I recently purchased a bread machine and began making my own whole wheat bread from non gmo organic whole wheat flour and Vital Wheat Gluten. I feel so much better now that I eat some everyday! It has really helped me feel stronger physically and mentally. It also takes very little to feel like I have eaten an entire meal when all I had was a slice of the bread. Since I have preservative sensitivity, my stomach doesn't rage with intense pangs even though I just ate, which is something the preservatives triggers. With the bread I feel full and it agrees with me, basically.

Now that gluten free diets are all the rage, can anyone relate to actually feeling gluten deficient and like you were missing the gluten your body required?I do! I have noticed quite an improvement now that I include more gluten than ever before.

It's neutral for me, although I do enjoy bread.

I was trying to become a raw vegan, but still can't make it. One of the foods i have trouble stop eating is bread. But i think that if i went into it real hard and made low temperature crackers, i could do it.

Going GF is hard. So I definitely have my splurge days.

I've been buying organic bread at whole foods. I use to refuse to spend my grocery money on gluten(which makes it much easier of course)
but now I will only spend my money on organic gluten.

It doesn't seem to bother me like it would a pizza.

I make hash browns w/ eggs for a meal a lot. It's good, but I metabolize it way to fast and get hungry an hour and a half later.

Those with wheat gluten intolerance can usually try sprouted grain wheat flour with success. Sprouted grains have a different protein and the body processes it differently. It doesn't seem to cause allergic reaction, but here's my disclaimer, everyone's bodies are unique.
Ancient grains don't cause the reactions either, like kamut or eincorn wheat, supposedly. You can get these flours for baking bread.

I recommend Bread Machines. My owner's manual has gluten free recipes too so there's something for everyone.

My bread machine broke from overuse (bah)
Got a replacement at Salvation Army, just about brand new, for only a couple of dollars (yippee)

Yes, with a bread machine you can bake your bread effortlessly with ingredients of your own choice.
