Post your favorite food flick. We will start a food movie marathon. Rules: you must watch the previous film(s) posted. you can only post after you watched it, or re-watched it, then state your favorite food scene and say why you liked it. Next, add your favorite food film to the list so we can all enjoy it. We will watch them together one at a time. Free, from your local library  Bending the rules: you can post a foodie clip or link a a foodie scene from a generic movie if it is exceptional, or deserves special recognition. Just finished watching Julie and Julia. Love it, the French restaurant scenes where Julia exclaims with enthusiasm her love of French food she shared with her husband. She was such a tall women, she could out eat us all I bet! I have Toast on hold, next flick to watch. IP: Logged |

Omgosh, Toast made me feel so sad, up until the very end. Loved the part when he registered for Home Economics class and his step mother was so jealous that he had outdone her Lemon merengue!
Had to watch it twice to really appreciate all the food nuances. Nice recommendation, thanks. IP: Logged |

In this documentary we journey along as he secretly explores restaurants and food trucks over and over 'till he decides it's time to write his review, and then spews out like a spontaneous dance his dining experiences just before deadline. He makes dreams come true for owners of upstart authentic ethnic family eateries and exposes us to diversity. Very fun movie for food lovers.
