i posted this over in the astrology forum, but there i was looking for more of opinion, this is what i posted there
quote:
is the 2nd/3rd house cusp trying to tell me something?? every relationship that i've found myself thrown into within the past 6th months has had the same trend in the composite. the composite is laden with a mass number of conjunctions. ALL the planets are closely aligned in along the 2nd/3rd house cusp. in EVERY chart.

pluto has always been in the 1st house within the same two degrees.
*only in the chart with my long term boyfriend (the others are interests/crushes), the moon is conjunct pluto & below the ascendant/desc
*in the other two charts, the moon is above the asc/desc in the 8th house, and the other's in the 11th house. and it's the ONLY planet up there. it's always a singleton!!

what is up with that? is the 2nd/3rd house cusp trying to tell me something? is there some unruly pattern that i always get myself into when it comes to relationships? and the moon placements just freak me out even more!!

do the singletons in those two relationships relate to my own natal Moon singleton in Leo?

i mean i was thinkin that one relationship would be more in touch with who i really am because of the 8th house influence and my very scorp influenced chart.

but then i thought the other could've been more lust driven and impersonal because of my Mars singleton in Aquarius and the moon in the composite being in the 11th house?

i was wondering if i'm on the right track? and if i am, just what does the 2nd/3rd houses signify when it comes to composite charts? i'm kind of taking this as a signal point like a high flying look out mark? or maybe it's positive?

don't start with composite charts, start with comparisons

put your planets in their charts and then vice-versa.

what to look for, an aspect between your ascendant rulers. (minor aspects are fine)

planets falling in the 1st and 7th house, these are planet traits that you identify with immediately. They make you feel like you've known each other for a long time.

aspects from your Moon and Venus to their personal planets and asc/desc.

aspects from their Sun/Mars to your personal planets and asc/desc.

things to look out for,
Mars/Saturn conjunction between nativities (unless one of you has Mars ruling and the other has Saturn ruling your Asc.)

Saturn and Venus squares between the natals, these are difficult to work through.

and as always there ARE exceptions to every rule, especially since astrology can be like an enigma.

As for composites, I use them (seldom) but will check to see if the transits are affecting the composite as a whole.
example: Transiting Saturn conjuncting, squaring or opposing the composite Sun, Moon, or Venus
