Hello,

I have read different opinions about my question mentioned above.

Some say that planets can be part of a Grand trine only some say that angles can be a part as well.

Who is right?

My sibling has T square with Mc, so I'd say why not.

I've read planets + angles is more than accepted. It's something I've looked intently into because I have 4 YODs 3 of which include either ASC or IC.

Your angles are personal spots in your chart that mean a lot to you, your past, your personality. I wouldn't include just any house cusp as a piece of an aspect formation ie: grand trine, YOD, t-square, but your angles, definitely.

Well, If it is planets from a technical POV, one can still look at it with angles to understand the workings and they will still be there.

IOW, it may not be a true Grand Trine but it will be something very important that still means a lot

I have a "Grand Trine" of The ASC, Venus and Chiron and I can feel it play out a great deal

I've made some research on this and I would definitely recommend to count the MC and angles in general as well.

Look at the charts of Oprah and DiCaprio.

They both have grand trines involving the MC and an analysis would definitely result in the assumption that the 2 of them are talented in the fields of communications and arts.
