I never look at transits to my solar chart, but I think I might start. I know my accurate birth time, so I didn’t think the solar chart would be that important, but I think it could be. Has anyone ever gleaned anything important from looking at transits to their solar chart? Tomorrow’s New Moon in Virgo is occurring in my natal 3rd house for my Cancer ascendant, but in my solar chart with my Taurus sun put as the ascendant, the Virgo New Moon will be happening in my solar 5th house.

In September 2018 the new moon for that month was in Virgo, and I started dating someone for a short time. Since the new moon occurred in my SOLAR 5th house, I think this could explain one reason why i met someone. The new moon fell in my NATAL 3rd house which also explained how I met this person (online dating). Tomorrow’s August 2019 new moon in virgo is a good one for romance, so i wonder if that will occur for me.

The best way to test the usefulness of one's own Solar Charts is to review the events (if any) that occurred during the 12 months that the last one was active.

From that, you will get a feel for how the solar chart "works for YOU" (actually and specifically) - rather than how they work generally/theoretically.

However, if your current Solar Return has been active for a few months, you may already have enough actual/past "event experiences" to review from that chart. ... But, as a general rule of thumb, always review what has happened during past progressions and transits to Return Charts before attempting to predict what might happen in the future.
