It can, but there can be some differences. For example, Moon Mars aspects (especially opposition, conjunction, and trine) can indicate strong sexual-emotional attraction dynamics, but one partner's Mars in the other's 4th tends to be more innately friction and tense feeling. It's well to remember that in an archetypal sense, the IC tends to be generally square the Ascendant, hence, there often tends to be some background friction, tenseness, and/or challenge, though with certain planets there can also be a feeling of deep emotional closeness and kinship (most noticeable with Moon, Sun, Venus, Jupiter). The fourth house represents home, family, how we view our parents and how we define the concept of "home," our childhood, etc.Someone placing planets here is going to bring a familial feeling. Being with this person probably feels like "home" and their presence may feel familiar and nurturing. It would probably be easy to share a home with them as well since what they bring to the relationship that falls into your fourth house activates the feeling of home and comfort in you. Moon here would be the strongest because moon rules over the 4th house - however it also depends on what the sign on the fourth house is. The way they show emotions, how they find security, and their basic habits will compliment your own needs to feel "at home." IP: Logged |

An example: Someone's late Scorp Moon conjunct early Sag Pluto and IC, is in my 4th and conjunct my Scorp Uranus. Uranus is the modern ruler of both my Venus Sign and my Descendant. She felt VERY familiar to me. I must have felt familiar to her as well, as she thought she had seen me at some sort of group thing before, but I hadn't ever been to it. On a deeper level, she felt like home to me. Because her Moon conjuncted my Uranus, and Uranus is that of the extremes, the unusual, and the psychic, I think I sometimes made her emotions a bit uncomfortable, and in turn, her emotional side activated my more extremist, Uranian side. We also had a strong psychic connection (also shown by strong 8th House, Neptune, Jupiter, and Pluto connections). During our first conscious meetup, I literally read her mind about something she wanted to order. We had some oddly synchronistic events happen around the same time, with one day apart--her with a very powerful and emotionally affecting guidance dream and me with a weird energetic cleansing reaction, and the two seemed to be related. Try as I might, I cannot completely get her out of my head or heart. I REALLY wish there was an "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" memory erasing procedure. But I must not have felt too much like home to her because she threw me to the curb like so much worthless trash very abruptly and after sentiments of love, affection, and appreciation. IP: Logged | |
