I had this once, I had a mad crush on this chick at first sight, I figured out later that she is a Leo Sun with Pisces Moon, we never talked much tho, I was a bit of an ass to her, then I figured out later that she and me mom share the same birthday, and one day I was kinda comparing how they look...and damn

I see in some men, esp. Cancerian ones, that a lot of times their GF/Wife would have the same Sun/Rising as their mother's Sun/Moon/Rising.

For example, my cousin is a Cancer Sun, his mother (my aunt) is also a Cancer Sun with Libra Moon & Rising. His GF of the past 8 years is also a double Libra (Sun/Rising).

It's not always so clear-cut like that but I do see similar energies being mirrored. Like, a friend of mine has an Aries moon and his mother, while not an Aries, was very Aries-like and his current gf, while also not an Aries herself, is almost exactly like his mother in behavior/mannerisms/overall energy...

My Aquarius-Sun mother died in 1994 ... but had an excellent relationship with my Aquarius-Sun wife since meeting for the first time in 1966.

So ... for better or worse ... I (a Sun-Scorpio) have a wife who does understand me.

I can see this happening. Still think it would depend on the guy and his relationship to his mother,etc. I agree with the theory that Cancer men especially would fall into this.

My brothers (Cancer sun/Pisces Moon/Scorpio rising) current gf has a Pisces Moon just like our mom. Her personality is very similar to my mom who's a Libra sun/Pisces Moon/Taurus Rising - his girlfriend is Virgo sun/Pisces Moon/Virgo Rising - but she is the last degree of Virgo on her rising, so most of her first house is in Libra.

My brothers dated A LOT... but this one finally seems like "the one". His juno is also in Virgo so that adds to it.

It happened to me with my last boyfriend. His mother has Ascendant in Pisces and I am Pisces. During the time that I was dating him, I felt that his mother tried very hard to be like a Pisces but she was more like Aries (her Sun) and Taurus (her Mars).

At first she and I seemed like best friends and he was surprised by that because he said that she hates everyone, she is not interested in anyone, she does not let anyone into her privacy, she mistrusts everyone and she is paranoid. Seriously, he said all that about her, haha, she has Moon in Scorpio. Well, at first she and I got along, but in the end she seemed jealous or that she wanted to compete and in the end she seemed to hate me or something like that. That family betrayed me, it was awful, ohh, memories came. I laugh so as not to cry.

Yes. I had with an ex-bf. His mother was a pisces like me and she has mars in taurus conjuncting my venus. Just like his.

We tend to choose our mates by how our parents look like.

A ex-bf with which I had a six years relationship found another girl - with which he married - that looks just like his mother.

We end up with people looking like our parents.
