Why can't I find any information in western astrological terms on house rulers falling into other houses?

Example, the ruler of my 10H (Aquarius) is in the 7H (retrograde Uranus). Everything I find is for vedic and doesn't even use Uranus and it mostly describes meeting my spouse at work or being married to my job.

If I go deeper into rulerships, Jupiter (ruler of 7H) is in Capricorn 8H, Saturn sits in the 6H Scorpio, Pluto is also in the 6H so it ends there.

It wouldn't work so I got the $10 kindle version. It helped me understand my own chart ruler. Not much about the 10H ruler though.

Page 267, when the ruler of the 10th is in the 7th ... (Uranus is able to use the 10th for its own 7th house purposes).

Then, in your case ... the ruler of the 7th (Jupiter) is able to use the 7th for its own 8th purposes ... Page 235, when the ruler of the 7th is in the 8th.

And, Saturn (ruler of 8th) is able to use the 8th for its own 6th house purposes ... Page 245, when the ruler of the 8th is in the 6th.

Then, Pluto (ruler of 6th and in 6th) uses the 10th + 7th + 8th + 6th for its own 6th house purposes. ... But, the book is missing the passages on when the ruler of the 6th is in the 6th (and my linked article does not cover 6th house at all).

However ... a web search turns up the following, from an article at http://astrofix.net/ruler-of-the-6th-house-in-houses/

"RULER OF THE 6TH HOUSE IN THE 6TH HOUSE
The activities of the 6th house serve the agenda of the 6th house. You create habits and routines that focus on health, work, and relationships with employees, coworkers and animals. You create routines for the sake of having a routine. You have routines for your animals. You become a slave to routine. Daily habits are geared to maintaining employment. Daily habits are geared to maintaining health. You want to stay healthy enough to work. You work with animals and pets. You are involved in animal health care. Veterinarians. Pet groomers. You create healthy snacks for pets. You are involved with labor unions and labor issues. You expect employees and coworkers to work with a routine. Your obligations to pets create a routine for you. You want a pet-friendly work environment. Your daily habits impact your ability to find a job. Obsessive-compulsive about habits and routines. You work in a health-related field. Dietitians, nutritionists and fitness instructors. Health technicians. You work as an organizer. You work as an occupational therapist. Vocational placement specialists. Head hunters. Mind-body therapists. Specialists of all kinds. You bring a work ethic to your approach to diet, nutrition and exercise. Practice makes perfect. Trainers. Systems analysts."

So ... lots of available information ... providing the cook-book interpretations of each individual piece in the jigsaw ... and Alan Oken gives some clearly explains examples of the synthesis involved in putting together all the pieces of the jigsaw.

As always though ... getting the correct synthesis requires a detailed understanding of how the individual pieces actually manifest (as events created by progressions and transits to the relevant house rulers in the natal chart).

I have the paperback edition published in 2000 ... So the chapter and page numbers may differ, but it is unlikely that the chapter will not be somewhere in your copy.

"The individual is prone to having clandestine love affairs or secret pleasures."

"It can also point to an individual who expresses his or her creative talents best when in a secluded location."

"The 12th house location of the 5th house ruler is also an indication of the nature of the death of our children, as it is the 8th house from the 5th. "

Yes, what does it mean it could show the nature of the death of a child?

Alan Oken is asserting here that - in every natal chart - the sign on the cusp of the 8th house (death) from the 5th house (children) MAY describe the nature of the death of the chart owner's first-born child. [The second child is the sibling of the first - so, in chart turning, he/she is symbolised by the 7th (ie. 3rd house from the 5th) and his/her death would be described by the cusp of the 2nd (i.e.. 8th from the 7th).]

In your natal chart ... the sign on the cusp of the 12th is Aries. So, theoretically, a keyword relating to Aries MAY describe the nature of the death of your first-born child. ... But, which of the many listed keywords will you choose? ... Impulsive, courageous, passionate, romantic, quick?

Hence, it will be more productive/helpful for you to focus on what is being highlighted by Alan Oken here ... which is that your Aries/12th Mercury rules your Virgo/5th, and can thus use your first-born child to achieve its own 12th house purposes.

For example ... might your intuitive Mercury-in-Aries/12th be using your first-born-child to learn how to correctly/effectively use its Moon-in-Libra/6th opposition and its Neptune-in-Capricorn/8th trine? ... And might the 8th house be about uncovering what is hidden, rather than about death?
