Which conjunction comes first?

I have Venus conjunct Mars, and recently met someone whose Sun is conjunct both planets.

Question: Which conjunction takes precedence? Sun conjunct Venus or Sun conjunct Mars?

The one with Mars since it is at 0 degree. The one with Venus is already a wide degree conjunction.

No, they are both seen, but the aspect with mars is more powerful than the one with Venus.

I just realized that is the Sun conjunct Mars. Expect competitive behavior in the relationship. It's a good think that it's a conjunction with Venus too, but the Mars aspect will be felt more.

Thus far our interaction has been energetic more than competitive.

By progression I've met a few Aries whose pSun have conjunct my nMars at 18° Taurus. With them the exchange were magnetic and arousing.

I've also met a few people where my pSun conjunct their nMars. Same thing, very sexually arousing. With me as Sun I found the Mars very aggressive.

With me as Mars I found the Sun person magnetizing - palpably pulling me in. I got the feeling they wanted me to make the moves.

With this current person, he has called my "very persistent". It is true, I want it. He initiated "alone time" first, but since it's been all me fighting and scheming to bring us closer...though I can feel him slipping away.

I created this thread to find out whether I should be more like Venus (let him come to me), or Mars (go after it)?

In my experience, the Mars-Sun conjunction is an aspect that points to competitive behaviour, even if it is in a work related environment or in a romantic relationship. At the first disagreement, you will feel the need to prove something or to go after him and for the Sun person it's going to be a frustrated situation. It might not be this obvious, but there will be subtle ways in which you and him will sense that you are against each other. I think the Mars person doesn't realize that is doing this and the Sun person will see the behaviour more clearly.

I experienced it both ways. Maybe the Sun-Venus conjunction is going to smooth things during those times.

YES!!

We had a major falling out, with me (Mars) as the aggressor - he's slipping away and I don't know what to do. He said to leave him alone, and tried acting cold/rude. I ignored all that, and pushed through his defenses, insisting on conversation...until I got one-on-one time.

Too late. He made a threat, I dared him, he followed through.

If it helps any, we also have moon-moon conjunction in Sagittarius.

Yeah, it is a difficult aspect to have in any relationship. I don't know if you can solve it. Maybe you could search within yourself why you do this, what are the things he does that irritates you so much, and why they bother you. A little soul searching.

Well, the conjunction is in Taurus. Classically, I feel he's not moving fast enough for my liking.

It is a good thing that it is in Taurus and not in Scorpio, for example. Then possessiveness and jealousy would have been an issue, I think. I had it with Gemini (being mars) and with Pisces (being Sun). Any sign it is, the issue is still the same.
