in synastry and composite charts, are exact aspects for trines and sextiles the same as conjunctions? to me they are. cause i feel like, for an aspect to be exact like that it can still hold the same amount of weight as a conjunction. or not WEIGHT but it can be as prominent as a conjunction i kind of imagine an exaction of trines and sextiles to be like if you wound a cord very tight almost to the point of breaking between the two planets like i know with conjunctions the energy just kind of merges together. with trines and sextiles the energy is easy flowing but a conjunction between say the moon and venus in synastry, and an exact trine between
the moon and venus would have the same prominence in synastry i feel like what do you guys think?

Usually ... the conjunction is a blend of two planets that are in the same sign and house, whereas the sextile and trine are a cooperation of two planets in different signs and houses.So ... if we think of the planets as people ... the conjunction is akin to politicians from the same Party working together - and the sextile/trine is akin to the working together of politicians from Party's having views which are compatible but not the same. ... Some compromise is required for the latter to work together, but not for the former to do so. And the orb of the aspect just indicates how committed the two planets/politicians are (to working together) - with an exact orb being a. 100% commitment IP: Logged |

I agree with Graham. Actually, when trines and sextile are linked to squares and oppositions, can also support negative energies.IP: Logged |

I agree completely...how very intuitive you are.
The.late astrologer Isabel hickey in her book,Astrology a Cosmic Science,she stated and I agree that any aspect that is exactly show s the working of destiny in a chart.
So an exact trine could have more of an effect on a persons life than a looser conjunction. IP: Logged |

I wouldn’t describe them as same as conjunctions because some conjunctions can swing both ways whereas trine/sextile are much easier flow. But IME exact to almost exact trine/sextile can be felt very strongly, eg. My guy and I have Venus-Moon trine DW at 1deg in Synastry and this permeates throughout the relationship, the way we engage each other. In Synastry, DWs are also gonna be major themes of the relationship.IP: Logged |
