For example, if you are kind of reserved, logical person conserning with people opinions; he/she comes to your life and wakes up your crazy part. You start to act showy , irrational, quick - not only with that person, but general. Make fool of yourself; Quit job for stupid reasons; Spoil your reputation.

I don’t think someone can cause someone to change to something they’re not themselves capable of (withholding) but... I think the Nessus person in synastry influence one someone’s personal planet. I’ve seen it play out in people around myself so imo there’s no debate about this little **** asteroid.

Not completely change, but maybe, bring their dark or crazy side what was sleeping from rocky adolescence time. Or great passion/ obsession are known to make people to do stupid things.
I saw some people got somehow crazy or even abusive from a little taste of power. Maybe, it was Nessus
Possibly, Lilith can do it.

From the news: a regular nurse from a good hospital had an affair with co- worker and put an order to kill his wife.
It sounds like it fits this topic.
It would be very interesting to see their charts.

@Sinder No, not good crazy... the Nessus person will manipulate them. It’s not for the planets person’s benefit but the Nessus person will prey on them *as if it was*, causing/expecting the planet person to throw out everything they know about themselves at the will of Nessus’ control. Nessus will consciously or unconsciously set out to destroy the planet from the ground up. The planet “feels liberated” but little do they recognize what’s actually happening, no matter who warns them. it’s incredibly inappropriate on a psychological scale between people. But it’s the planet’s own fault for wanting this “treatment” (dynamic) to begin with. *shudders* Very similar to narcissist abuse, Nessus as narc.

So... with that being said, what I’ve also began to notice, when someone has behaved out Nessus ... usually, “the Nessus person” has major natal Dejanira aspects to their own personal planets, and thus use others in synastry to activate (encapsulate) their complex. I noticed this because not everyone is susceptible to this kind of “romance” (even though the asteroid can be found in all our charts), so I begun to ask myself who was prone to perpetuating it.

Based on personal experience, I would say Mars sq. Mars or Mercury sq. Mars in synastry, particularly with the latter if you are Mercury. You constantly feel like your ideas are worthless, and expressing yourself becomes extremely difficult over time. All that bottling of true feelings can brew some nasty thoughts. Mars sq. Mars adds that constant undertone of irritation with the other person, after the sexual heat wears off. You just feel like you can never truly relax in their presence, and it takes conscious work on behalf of both parties to join forces in a productive way, which is exhausting.

As far as other triggers, you have to watch for their planets triggering aspects you already struggle with natally, so there is a degree of self awareness involved when examining the charts for things that can’t really be helped. Like if their Jupiter squares your Venus/Pluto square, instead of being a positive I think it actually exacerbates the dark side of that aspect and brings out the worst of it. Same like if your Mars squares their own natal Mars squares, fireworks!

oof, that's interesting.
it could be many things.
oppositions give me such a vibe. no one can irk you like your opposition.
next, check your saturn placements because people who appear as saturn "the heavy teacher" in our lives, can frustrate us so much.

mars/mars contacts and sun/mars, preferably oppositions, squares and conjunctions.

Hmm, interesting about the Nessus thing

My Nessus conjunct my ex Venus 2 degrees
And I definitely did go crazy, I didn’t feel like myself at all

I also remember genuinely wanting to kill him at least 2/3 times, like I remember fully understanding how and why people kill their ex’s like the Jodi arias case etc. lol I could easily relate and wanted to do the same thing. I never felt so much rage and resentment and spite in my life, it was actually insane and very hard and uncomfortable to deal with.

He was terrible towards me though and abusive and it just built up over the years, so seems like this aspect can bring out the worst in both parties… since he was never as bad as he was to me as he was with previous partners he didn’t have these Nessus aspects with

Which I always thought was strange, since we don’t have any “bad” Synastry or composite aspects that would indicate the amount of abuse, betrayal, secrets and conflict that characterized our connection.

But the Venus/Nessus I guess makes more sense now!

Isn't Lilith supposed to have that effect when it's strong in synastry??

Lunalscariot, that’s awful, I’m sorry that happened to you.

My mother definitely did this to me. My Nessus is on her south node and her Nessus was on my sun. Her Dejanira exactly conjunct my Saturn, squaring my sun-Pluto opposition so including her Nessus and activating a very loose natal T-square for me. Her Jupiter also squared my Nessus and her Mercury squared our Deja/Sun conjunction (the abuse of verbal as well as physical). Our Deja/Sun also sextile my ascendant. All in all it was the most damaging relationship in my life and probably one of the most damaging to her as well. Her violence toward me brought out my own violence and self-harm, plus verbal abuse and violent behavior towards my sister. Since I cut off contact with her I was never like that again with anyone, and the times she was absent people would tell me how nurturing I was. It seems she really triggered that in me. My relationship with my sister has also been totally different since then.

This is all scaring me! I have been wondering about my (natally unaspected) Nessus conjunct someone’s Venus/Lilith conjunction… They are in Libra, my 4th/his 11th. Natally, we both have Deja conjunct our Ascendants, though mine also conjunct my south node. My Deja on his Jupiter squares his Juno/Mercury, his Deja conjuncts my Vertex. His Nessus opposes my Mars

I must add as a counterpoint though that I had some Nessus/Dejanira stuff with my ex and although he had violent outbursts and temper tantrums, they were never directed at me and we never abused one another, verbally or physically. And my Nessus trined his Dejanira, his Deja also squared my Pluto, his Nessus squared my MC/IC, and my Deja squared his Mars/Chiron conjunction and trined his Jupiter. So I wonder what personal planets have to be involved and ultimately I’m sure the maturity of the individuals influences all the astrological potentialities. Maybe if we were less mature we would have had an abusive relationship, but as it was I was mainly trying to keep him from his own self-abuse. He did once hand me a knife and ask me to kill him, but obviously I did not take him up on that lol

I wonder too if the sign/house makes a big difference. My ex and I both have our Nessus in air signs and houses, including Libra (me) and the 7th (him). Whereas my mother’s Nessus fell in earth sign and house (Cap, 6).

My bf's ex is a nutjob who somehow turns him into a nutjob whenever he interacts with her. Her nessus conj his IC 3 deg, and his nessus conj her sun 2 deg.

They also have pluto-mars DW (square and opp) which probably helps the crazy..
