I'm not sure how to take some of the info and I don't know too much about composite/synastry. like saturn is pretty poorly aspected in synastry, but the moon and saturn are almost completely untouched in the composite chart from what I can tell!

There is a Venus Mars opposition but it's out of degree, so he might feel attracted to you.

Also, his Mars and Moon are in your first house, so he might feel emotionally drawn to you.

Unfortunately, by degree there's nothing to go on...

Your Saturn is opposite his Moon and Mars conjunction and he might not like that. He might be impulsive with this aspect in his natal chart, and he might be feeling restricted by you. With this opposition you might go for his initiations, and then redraw, and he will feel that. His Saturn is widely conjunct your Mars too.

His Venus in your 11th house is really helpfull, because a friendship it's possible and will mitigate some of the other aspects or improve your relationship overall.

But your moon is untouched by him. Not by his Sun, Moon, Venus. It's just a sextile between your Moon and his, and that's too weak to consider it.

Still, we don't know his time of birth, so your Moon could fall on his ASC/DC.

In his natal chart, he has Mars conjunct Moon and you have Mars conjunct Sun. But he doesn't fit your 7th house.

All of that makes total sense, he comes to me and for various reasons it was always a bad time until now. I have also been wary of him because he tends to feel too immature for what I am typically looking for. I have always felt that he expects a different reaction and tends to be slightly offput/unsure by how I'll respond to his advances, definitely like I end up being too serious for him/too serious in general even if my response is lighthearted/positive! But we have always felt familiar together and while I'm attracted to him & we have a good flirtatious back and forth, he's one of those people I always think of as a friend even if we haven't spoken in a long time! We also have always had good emotional conversations with one another which I liked.

Usually, people with 7th house ruled by Saturn or with Saturn in it, are drawn only to relationships that are serious from the get-go. And he doesn't have any of the qualities related to Saturn - he's not a capricorn/aquarius, he doesn't have a conjunction from Saturn to personal planets. But he might have Saturn in the 1st or in the 10th house, and he might seem serious enough for your taste.
