Hi!I was wondering, if someone had a unaspected (no major aspects or points) planet, say sun, in their natal chart and then also didn’t have it in synastry with someone. Would that make them feel comfortable or uncomfortable? Because normally with unaspected personal planets in synastry it can be a problem. But if it also is so in the natal chart doesn’t it just feel familiar for them? What is your experience?

An aspect between two planets mean that that the energy of those two planets is changed by their interaction. This doesn't mean that if in natal is unaspected, that's how that person would prefer. Depends also on the planet that is aspecting the planet. If it's Saturn, Mars, Nodes... is difficult and he/she might not prefer it... but if it's jupiter, Venus, Moon, no one will say "I don't like it" IP: Logged |

Ok thanks! In the synastry that I’m thinking of the sun is aspected only as a square to North Node. BUT is conjunct with our composite jupiter. Would that make it more easy? Its a good synastry otherwise with Moon trine mars Moon trine moon Venus moon dw Mars jupiter dw Mercury sextile venus Mercury sextile moon Mercury conjunct mars Jupiter sextile venus Venus trine asc Mars opp asc

It's easier with the synastry chart, if you can upload it.IP: Logged |

GOOD QUESTIONI have an example that i am currently mulling over in my brain: I have a a poorly aspected Moon. No major aspects to personal planets except Jupiter and the orb is almost two wide to count (8 degrees). Moon semi-sextile Sun (2 degrees) Moon trine Saturn (1 degree) Moon square Uranus (2 degrees) Moon square Neptune (1 degree) Moon conjunct Jupiter (8 degrees) I recently met several men who's Sun is in close conjunction to my moon (the universe responds to me like this sometimes lol believe it or not) with one in particular who's Sun, Mercury, and Venus conjunct my moon. His mars also trined my moon and his own moon made a nice sextile as well. He still rubs me the wrong way for some reason, but I still find myself wanting to communicate with him. I blame Moon-Saturn, Moon-Pluto. So I guess my point is, sometimes the lack of aspects in our own chart might be EXACTLY what we need to feel emotionally safe and secure. It's like an oxymoron? You would think someone filling in all those "holes" WOULD fill us up, but sometimes those holes are there for a reason and don't need to be filled. SideNote: I had a best friend in high school whose mercury and venus trined my moon and it waa one of the most fulfilling relationships I've ever had so who knows. I will continue to observe lol IP: Logged |

Thank you for the replies!!Me_Chryssa, I'm new here and cannot figure out how to opload a picture sorry 93nov, Yes that was my thought too. I read another interesting post here where the discussion was about that the personal planets prefer the same modality and element as in the natal when in synastry, and preferably also the same type of aspects. So if someone has a square to their mars by neptune in natal that means they prefer mutable square in synastry etc. But I also see your point Me_Chryssa that it depends on the character of the planet..
