And a Cap Dsc is it likely that they probably wouldn't be attracted to someone who has Aquarius on the 8th house and an Aquarius Asc? I was talking to this astrologer. And he stated that a person who has Cap on the 8th house. Wouldn't be sexually compatible with someone who has Aquarius on their 8th house. Since Capricorn would is serious about sexual manners. Whereas Aquarius would basically be the opposite.IP: Logged |

This is interesting...does 8th house sign have that much of an effect on sexual compatibility? My 8th house cusp is 29 degrees Aquarius so it is ruled by mostly Pisces. Does that mean I would look for compatibility for Aqua or Pisces? Also what comes into play with compatibility? 8th house ruler to 8th house ruler in synastry? Or someone’s 8th house ruler with another’s planets/angles? IP: Logged |

From what I've read It doesn't necessarily mean you would only be compatible with an Aquarius or Pisces. But also people who have the characteristics of Aquarius or Pisces. Someone told me that a person with a Cap DSC might be attracted to be because I have Venus square Saturn which is similar to having Dsc in Cap I don't know if this is really true though. Also I'm assuming because I have Moon parallel Saturn and Venus square Saturn. That could be why someone who has a Capricorn Descendant might be attracted to me. That's just my assumption though. Since the 8th house rules sex I suppose that it would have something to do with sexual compatibility. But of course it would also depend on aspects to personal planets as well. But having Aquarius on the 8th house would make a person unconventional in regards to sex. I guess I could say based on personal experience lol. Some things are confusing to me like I thought if a person had Venus in Gemini and the other person has Mars in Gemini there would be somewhat of a compatibility. But the astrologer I spoke with stated that a person who has Venus in Gemini really needs good rapport and a mental connection. And since I have Mercury square Mercury with the person that it wouldn't work. Because there would be a lack of communication which a Venus in Gemini would need. So basically having the same Mars sign doesn't really matter at all. Sometimes I just don't know lol. IP: Logged |

I would think it depends on where their planets are placed. If they have venus, mars or Eros in Aqua or strong Uranus aspects, theyd definitely be attracted to an Aquarian -type. Why not..
Also the traditional ruler of Aquarius is Saturn. I also recognized that the secondary Dsc seems to play an important role in attraction and compatibility. With Caps on the 7th house, the secondary Dsc would be the 10th house, since its the natural house of Capricorn and Saturn. Depending on which sign rules the 10th house, thats also an indication of favored characteristics of a partner. In my case it always worked. My Dsc is Taurus. My 2nd Dsc is 2nd house in Sagittarius. I love the qualities of Sag! Most people I dated were freedom loving individuals and highly philosophical. A part of my 2nd house is in Capricorn and my daughters sun will land there. IP: Logged |

Yes this makes sense because my DSC is Aquarius making the secondary house -11th which is Gemini for me and I do attract and love Gemini’s! Sometimes even more than Aquarius. So would my 8th house be more Aquarius or Pisces since it is 29 Aquarius and the house being covered mostly by Pisces? IP: Logged |

Well if that's the case the person has MC in Pisces so I guess Pisces would be the 10th house ruler. I have Venus in Pisces and my 8th house is in Pisces but that's just about my love style. Do you know what the 2nd DSC would be for Aquarius on the 7th house? IP: Logged |

Im not quite sure in this case, but Id say its both, but mostly dominated by Pisces! Synastry planets in Pisces or transits in Pisces will always activate your 8th house. And really cool to read, that your secondary Dsc works, too!! I wonder if one can use this principle for any house.. so if your 8th house is Aqua but mostly Pisces, your 11th and 12th house might become sexually charged as well? So your cravings, obsessions and sexuality are lived out in an 11/12th house setting. You either tend to secretly crush on a friend, or you derive pleasure from secrecy in generel. For Aquarius in 7th it would be the 11th house! Because Aquarius naturally rules the 11th house. So whatever sign is on the 11th house, these are also favored characteristics of an ideal partner. You can count the houses as follows: natural ruler of the 1st is Aries, 2nd is Taurus, 3rd is Gemini..etc. Last sign and natural ruler of 12th house is Pisces.

I have Descendant in Taurus and my 2nd house is ruled by Sagittarius. I'm significantly more into the traits of Scorpios and Capricorns. That being said, Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, is in my 10th house conjunct my Midheaven.IP: Logged |

My eighth house being ruled by Capricorn... I'm definitely attracted to Aquarian individuals. And for Aquarius ruling the eighth house... Although I never was involved with such person sexually (at least that I'm aware of) I definitely am certain that I'd be attracted to such sort. Referring to one person specifically. Cancer rising, which puts Aquarius in his eighth house. And his moon is Aquarius as well. I'm generally attracted to Cancer rising individuals... And people with strong Uranus in their chart. Capricorn not so much. It definitely depends on a person's entire chart. Isolating planets/signs/houses not such a good idea. Honestly I really dislike Saturnian type individuals for some reason.
