Since the Composite describes the dynamics of the relationship, the Nodes conjunction refer to the relationship itself, but it can point to one of the two people's life as well... his life might have apparently not changed, but the Nodes usually affect an other worldly plane, you might not be aware of what actually has changed for him, at subconscious or karmic level, or in his future life path, since he might not be aware of this himself either. If it's good or bad, it depends on other aspects, what aspects the Nodes form and from the whole picture of the Composite.
