A lot, I guess. My Saturn conjuncts husband's ASC and Neptune, trines his Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter and IC, and sextiles his Pluto/MC. His conjuncts my IC, trines my Venus/Neptune/DSC, sextiles my Moon and Pluto, and opposes my Mercury. IP: Logged |

Her Libra Saturn squares my Capricorn Jupiter, and (significantly*) my Virgo Saturn makes a 165 with her Aquarius Venus, and my Leo Pluto** makes a 165 with her Pisces Mars and Aquarius Sun..[* Noel Tyl named the 165/quindecile "the degree of obsession" ... and it does indeed seem to be an aspect that creates an intense focus upon someone/something.] [** A 165-165-30 triangle is a poleaxe configuration.] IP: Logged |

Are those all the Saturn aspects in synastry? I'm asking because people always say you need Saturn for a relationship to be long-lasting. A 165 is a quindecile aspect.

[/B][/QUOTE]My reply was an attempt to question the validity of what people always say ... but perhaps those two Saturn aspects have been more significant in my 50 years marriage than I believe them to have been. There seems to be almost all positive saturn aspects. I always wondered what it would be like to have a relationship with someone with both negative and positive saturn. Like what if you had Saturn trine Venus and Mercury, but square mars and moon?IP: Logged |
