In a davison chart, I'd expect the conjunction to SOUTH Node to mean that fated events will hinder your achieving of the North Node objective.

Hello Graham,
How do you interpret the Davison Chart, in relation to Composite?

Which houses do you prefer?

The individual astrological indicators have the same meaning in natal, synastry, composite and davison charts - but we are looking at them from 4 different perspectives. ... Thus :-

1. The natal chart shows the personal issues of each of the two people. (So these are there throughout the relationship.)

2. The synastry shows the personality clashes; generational differences and (subconscious) psychological issues that each partner will experience via interacting with the other.

3. The composite shows how the two people will operate together, as a two person team.

4. The davison shows why the two souls are in the relationship, or what the relationship is helping them to learn/develop.

So ... South node conjunct vertex has the same general meaning/interpretation in both the composite and davison charts ... (i.e.. "fated events will hinder the achievement of the North Node objective") ... BUT that NN objective may differ in each of the two charts.
