If I understood correctly, speaking of Venus-Pluto opposition, your Venus is also in this aspect with HIS PLUTO!
Whenever I see this aspect in synastry, it seems that the Pluto person has an upper hand. He sure is very intense - his Moon opposes his Pluto natally: intense emotions, mood swings, from exaltation to depression. Also, with this position sometimes people instinctively know how to manipulate others. So be very careful. I think that attraction exists on both sides, but maybe what you want out if it is different from what he wants.
People use the word “karmic” with a certain degree of excitement. They have big expectations from it. The fact is when this happens it happens so that we can grow. The only way to grow is to learn and that is, I’m afraid to say rarely pleasant and almost always is contrary to the expectations of those who got excited in the first place.
He strikes me as a person who needs to believe that he has the freedom. It doesn’t matter if it is really true (nobody is absolutely free!), but he has to think that he has it, otherwise he will feel trapped. You also have Sun-Mars opposition (a certain degree of competition in a relationship). Sun may find the way Mars acts annoying and Mars may find Sun too defensive.
Also, Venus- Uranus aspec
t speaks of sudden strong attraction which usually doesn’t last. Since it’s your Uranus, I’d say that you will ride out this crush and when you do not get enough fuel from him, you will lose interest. That is one possibility; of course.
I would take a look at the composite chart as well to see how your relationship functions. This is how you influence one another.
