Hi everyone!

This is my second post, I'm in the middle of a life crisis and wondering about love, lust, passion, emotional connection.

First, what's difference between emotional, spiritual connection and love?

Has anyone had a love story, with a synastry laced with Pluto, Chiron, Moon and Ascendant contacts?
Is passion the same as love?

I keep reading that our relationship is going to be intense, passionate, healing, emotional but we need to be extremely honest with each other and not try to play games, and especially no trying to control the other.

(if you're curious about the relationship, here's more: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/012243.html)

To be honest, I'm just scared. The sacrifices I need to make are... everything. My entire life.
I'm just... you know? I love movies about people changing their lives for love... but, to be honest, I've done it before. I've already tried to sacrifice everything for love... And love went away.
Will this passion be a deception as well?
For some reason, if I read everywhere in the synastry analysis "true love" I'd feel a lot more comfortable with this.

Sorry, it's 10pm, and I'm crying on my keyboard, just as I was about 30 years ago, about the same person. I would call him, but he's the other side of the world, asleep.

So, what do you think?
Are love, passion and emotional/spiritual connection all equal?
Have you lived/are you in this type of relationship? How is it?
Can it be healthy and long term?

Well I would say love can be passionate, but it isn't always. For me, they are two separate things. I have had relationships with many or all of the aspects you mentioned (Pluto, Chiron, ASC, Moon...) and they come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Some are romantic, some are friends, some are family.

They all hurt. But that's where the growth comes from. Even a long lasting (permanent?) love will have pain, even when it's unintended. I think, philosophically, depending on what kind of life you signed up for, you may have more of these intense connections than others. I tend to require them, and sometimes I think it's because I have so much Saturn and Neptune that without the intense shock of connection I may otherwise miss the opportunity.

But to come back to your question, my most intense relationship had these aspects, and as deep as the passion was, it wasn't love. At least not the great, lasting love we all talk about. I have spent a lot of time trying to recapture that passion, and am now coming to the realization that maybe what I need is not that intense burning passion, but a slow burn true love. There can be passion inside of that, but it doesn't have to consume you.

I will look at your synastry in a bit.

Thank you for your reply
Yeah, the slow burn true love does sound good. I still have some hope that true love will be there under the passion. This relationship in a way has been slow burn since it started about 30 years ago and we just got together this year.
The confusion and doubts also come from the long distance. Thank you if you manage to have a look at our Synastry
