Hola all,So this is obviously a specific study. I am still doing a general long-term synastry study on this board, and I encourage all to participate! However, please look to see if you or anyone you know has had a T-square missing leg filled by another's Saturn (or vice versa). How did it feel? What were the signs/houses involved? For example: Picture a T-square in Person A's chart: His Gemini Venus (4th/5th cusp) opposes his Sag Neptune (11th), both squaring his 1st house Juno in Pisces (apex). What, by itself, would this T-square signify? The above opposition generally leads to over-idealization of romance/partner. This is not likely helped by the Juno in Pisces (a sign that can easily over-idealize the world around it). Person B comes along and fills the missing leg with Saturn. Death knell? Stabilizing influence? Any thoughts? IP: Logged |

It depends on the planet the T/square needs. Your T/square probably needs a Mars.------------------

I'm not sure I would call Saturn a death knell. It would seem to me to stabilize. Bring that person maybe a bit more down to earth. I guess it depends on if not idealizing would make the person feel more secure or not. They may like living with idealization. I guess it depends on what the person needs.

so umm, I have a t-squarevenus (4th) moon(10th) pluto (6th) And my partner has saturn in 12th. if you put the charts on top of them, it would look like a grand cross. is this what you are asking? edit: but, his 12th house is libra. libra is my 6th house (together with virgo) the intercepted point of my t-square is my 12th house taurus. his descendant in taurus is 5-6 degrees away. so ummm yeah. if these are the aspects you are looking for let me know. Hi everyone,LeeLoo: I don't know that a particular T-square "needs" anything other than a natal focus on or synastric planet or point in the sign of the missing leg. Mars might feel more comfortable in such a position, true. It also might over-sexualize the tension and hinder the individual with respect to realistic goals and/or commitment, a problem for some and not for others, depending on natal needs. A Saturn in the missing leg of a T-square formed by Mars, Pluto, and another Saturn might feel overwhelmingly hard on the other hand. The mind boggles. Well, my mind boggles. LOL LucieLemonade, hello! Love the username. I concur with your assessment. VestaFlake, hello! Yes, I do believe that is what I seek. If his Saturn opposes the apex of your T-square and squares your opposing planets... how does this feel to you? How long have you been together? If you consider the energies of your own T-square (Pluto at the apex?) which might indicate natal emotional volatility or even power issues with respect to your Venus, does this energy feel calmer in his presence? Restrictive? Saturn, as the Realist, can seem overly critical to those on the receiving end as well. What has your experience been like? Thanks! IP: Logged |

I can't help but giggle that my ALICE completes the Cardinal Cross of Craziness in his chart: MOON opposite MARS square MERC. (That's MERC in the 8H, mind.) It's as if his entire being is wrapped up in this complicated T-Square -- my SUN/PLUTO comes along on his MARS, my PRIAPUS on his MOON-BML-NYMPHE, my CERES-NYMPHE-NESSUS on his MERC, and my ALICE-AMOR to 'complete the picture'.The fact that it's my ALICE-AMOR is just so telling. So, not to cook your data over here! I just thought I'd toss that out there in the 'completion patterns' way of things. For us, it says EVERYTHING. IP: Logged |

I have this with the guy I'm seeing. Well, I'm not the Saturn and the orbs are wide-ish. His T is Saturn/Jupiter/Ur-Pluto My moon-merc oppose his Jupiter at 4/5 orb and the squares to Sat & the U/P conj are all wide. But this is certainly the most complicated person/relationship I've ever been in! TBH, it's probably too much for my Saggie self to deal with. It's possible this isn't going to last enough for me to really understand the energies involved. IP: Logged |

I'm posting my natal and our synastry. and His saturn in 12th house is actually conjuncting my Pluto in 6th. But still, I have to say that his presence has made my t-square stronger. We have been together for 6 months now. My mom already turned the things into a battle with him. It's either her or him. Me, feeling better and more comfortable about my t-square. Feels like finally I'm getting somewhere. He, is feeling challenged and taking things a bit personal as his saturn tightly conjuncts his ascendant in scorpio. Still, he has venus and pluto in 12th house loosely conjuncting his saturn as well. I think that's what keeps him going about this. IP: Logged |

However, there are luminary TS, love TS, mental/intellectual TS, affirmation TS etc. in a natal chart. ------------------
