I have heard that, in general, Mars in Capricorn can be boring in bed. Would Mars in Capricorn in a composite chart suggest boring sex in the relationship, even though in synastry there is a Venus-Mars conjunction in Scorpio? IP: Logged |

Sounds like needless stereotyping. But sex may not happen if it's perceived as impractical or has no foundation in a greater relationship. In other words, it'd be more of the serious rather than casual persuasion. IP: Logged |

Cap Mars isn't boring when it comes to sex. Stamina, kinky, high staying powerAlso that indicate your drive as a couple in other projects. Planets in composite are more emphasized with aspects than signs IP: Logged |

MARS is exalted in Capricorn, so it certainly isn't going to disappoint. Sex is more likely to be a problem with MARS in fall or detriment, ie - Libra, Cancer.House placement matters. 12H MARS could be unfulfilling, or unattainable. Personally, I think sexual relations are more predictable in synastry than composite, though. IP: Logged |

I've dated a couple mars in cap, once it came time for sex I realized, nope this isn't going to do it for me! I left the relationship because I knew the sex was way to bla for my taste. Plus cap/Saturn+Mars/sex/size....restrictions to that area are not good! Either size or hardness was restricted....the 3 I knew all had little blue pills readily available, so obviously this was an ongoing issue. My thinking was, "wait....what happens if those lil pills are not around? I have to go without?? OMG, NO!" I was not enough into them to be ok with that. Sorry, Venus/Pluto with Pluto on AC doesn't make me the most easy going person when it comes to things like that, Pluto can be a little obsessive and demanding. IP: Logged |

Hahahahhahahah!!!!! DD!!!!! I have Mars in capricorn natally and so does my partner I have to say her sex drive is veeeeery high because her Mars in cap is 27 degrees and I'm 2 degrees and we also have composite Mars in capricorn and I have to say that nooooooo sex is not boring at all !! but I do have to say our sex drives are different even Mars in Capricorn is into kink and long steady drive which I have to admit that is true for my relationship I don't know if it is for yours?????? Buuuuuttt I definetly feel the one who is more sensual and more connected emotionally and a longer sustained drive than her which is something I don't like but I don't think it has anything to do with having Mars in Capricorn composite I think that could be something else connected to synastry. Hope this helped...... ------------------ Sun Capricorn, Moon Aries, Libra Rising IP: Logged |

You are talking about synastry and natal placement. We are talking about mars in capricorn itself. When it comes to natal, the person you date might have badly aspected mars. Plus mars in capricorn gets better with time (as with everything else in cap). And mars isn't the only thing that is indicative about a person's sexuality when it comes to synastry, you might not be compatible with this energy and hence dislike it. Mars in Cap in itself doesn't indicate boring sex. IP: Logged |

Thanks for all the input. My ex has Mars in Cap and yeah, he tends to do the same things/say the same things during sex all the time. Gets boring. He says hes into kink but after 2.5 years i realized he just didn't do it for me. IP: Logged |

From my experience it does! Lol Didn't mean to offend anyone! But I do have a libra AC/Pluto/Venus aries Jupiter/Chiron....all degrees of cap will square something in my chart unless it's cap@1 or cap@29 I don't like personal placements in cap, I feel stifled by them. Cap AC is ok, though.

I think Mars in Capricorn can either be very anxious in sex or limit sex to mechanical "work".Saturn on Mars does not mean that you will have bad sex. It just means that your sexuality may be a little more complex. It'll take time for you to reach your sexual prime. Outside the bedroom is where this energy really "comes alive".But inside, you may find the partner cold, mechanical, restricted ,inhibited and wanting to get it "over and done with" so that they can finish that brief for work tomorrow etc. Barring aspects to Pluto, the women can abstain and the Men pour their sexual energy to work. Mars in Cap can feel incompetent in the area of sex because it involves one aspect of their life where they need to get in touch with their more "feeling" side in order for the experience to be good. I wouldn't be surprised if Saturn on Mars or Cap there contributes with issues with orgasms or getting aroused. Men may think their "d" is small and feel very self-conscious about it. Others may think it too big and embarrassing. Women may think sex "disgusting" or "unnecessary". Others may only have it to be a "good" girlfriend or wife. not because they like it etc. Whatever the take, there tends to be some inhibition to sex or some sexual issues.

Why are we discussing natal placement, when the topic is composite MARS? I think individual placements are strongly colored by a synastric relations. People with poor experience with Cap MARS probably do not mesh well with Cap energies. That said, composite MARS appears to to be more about the driving force or energy of a couple, more than an indicator of the quality of their sex life. Much more than in natal, in any case. IP: Logged |

Blind writer - what composite placement/aspect do you think more indicates the sex life of the couple? Im going over some of my composites with previois partners and trying to find a pattern. The only asteroid im really considering is Eros; other than that, I'm just looking at planets and the main aspects. IP: Logged |

Just checked things out and I think I answered my own question....turns out I've had composite Mars in Capricorn with three guys and all of those instances were different. One was pretty good, actually. He had Mars in Scorp conjuncting my Venus.. (just like the situation im curious about with a man i haven't had sex with yet)Maybe it's synastry that shows more of the interaction energies. IP: Logged |

That's exactly what I was saying. Synastry is the best predictor of the sexual attraction and quality. Composite MARS is more like your joint drive, or energy - ability to get things done, and how. EROS is a good one to check though, as that is exclusively a sexual and physical asteroid. IP: Logged |
