His mars is at 0 degrees libra(on my dsc) and mine is at 29 aries. I thought it was strange that we both have the anaretic degree, and they are inconjunct. How does the 0 degrees libra express itself? I'm curious. He told me that he always struggled with his anger.IP: Logged |

This is a very important placement, it shows someone who is meant to be some sort of leader at some point in their life. The leadership will have a major relational flavor. What is the house?Mars on your DSC is a strong energy, his masculine energy should be something suitable for you, if the rest of your chart requires Mars there, otherwise the energy itself could be hostile, there is no middle ground, usually it's a black or white type of bond. There is a major difference between 0 and 29 critical degrees: 29 gathers the energy of its sign and needs an outlet, partner or partners or situations coming from the next sign (the one 29 strives for, in your case Taurus), it's a very strong Aries energy striving to express itself as Taurus or through Taurus values/expressions. So 29 is receptive, relational, of service, needs to devote itself to a goal, person, dream, usually in connection with that next sign. 0 is already the pioneer, a bringer of novelty, a creator of groups or ideologies etc, depending on the sign, house and the house it rules. What he brings new and important probably comes from the house ruled by his Mars. ------------------

My aries mars is in the first house and i have aries rising. He is a taurus. His sun is conjunct ny psyche /eros in taurus. His mars is in his fifth. Its conjunct pallas. And has a lot of aspects. Interrsting what you said about being a leader. He is an activist. Thanks for the insight. And yes I feel it is very black or white. So true. IP: Logged |

Conjuncts Pallas is really very interesting, because it obviously enhances the warrior spirit, but gives it an ideas/ideals warrior flavor and the use of intuition and feminine energy in one's battles, which is a more compassionate, ultimately peaceful oriented nature; this is the nature of the Libra fighter as well, Libra usually fights for peace rather than power assertion for the sake of power and dominance. Being ruled by Venus, Libra fights for harmony, and there is an interesting connection here between Mars and two feminine archetypes, Venus and Pallas Athena. As an Aries ASC and first house Mars, you probably need and like Martian energy, so his Mars on your DSC looks like a very good placement ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms...
