I looked at my boyfriends mothers chart, because she is born the day before me, and I kinda hoped to see something way different from my chart. But what the hell did I find out? I share the same Sun, Venus and Mars sign with her, and almost the exactly same degrees!! This is like SO weird? So we both have sun conjunction mars in virgo, and an early scorpio venus. My boyfriend is sun conjunct venus in libra and with a gemini mars. I never thought our mars/venus/sun signs was compatible at all, but this new discovery really gives me the CREEPS! What shall I do about this? I obviously dont want to be anywhere similar with my boyfriends mother, it's just really weird. Not that I think we are very much alike based on all the times I've met her, but still... why this!! IP: Logged |

Im honestly perplexed why you find this so weird. There is nothing wrong with a man finding a women with traits similar to his mother, since those are going to be traits he is bound to find easy to love. And in fact many will do so. It does not mean anything creepy. The romantic feelings he has for you are not because you are have similarities to his mother -- Im sure those things are uniquely yours. But the reason he trusts himself and you enough to have them for you, may be because you have traits he has spent his entire life inherently loving, and trusting. It's perfectly normal, in my opinion. IP: Logged |

Haha I'm glad you say this I guess I just got a little afraid, but I think (and hope) you are right Also, the rest of our charts is no where near similar, but I do think it's one of a big "funny" coincidence that we share same sun, venus and mars in the same degrees IP: Logged |

Most men look for women that remind them of their moms...she is the one they have turned to for love and comfort all their life. They say most men marry women like their mom, and only date the ones who are not. If he feels comfortable and nurtured by you in a way that's familiar he'll be more likely to hold onto you. What if the man has Moon opposite Venus in his natal charts? or if the man's Moon opposite the woman's Venus in synastry? IP: Logged |

Basic psychology, sweetheart.Men marry their mothers. I'm sorry; Freud got that part right. The whole of human spectrum cannot expect to be categorised, simplified, diluted, or even properly explained. Energy is energy. We love to return to what comforts us -- or is simply familiar. This is why women tend to marry their fathers, too. It's not emotional incest. It's our first introduction to love. Why wouldn't we try and 'duplicate' it along the way? Look at the upside. You two might get along famously! Always a plus! IP: Logged |

He may've found it a push-pull to win mom's affection. On the whole, he's liable to send (and receive) mixed messages. If you enquire about his relationship with his mother, he's likely to describe her as 'unpredictable' or their relationship as 'complicated'. Signs and other aspects can tell more of the story as to why. In romantic synastry, MOON opposite VENUS tends to find the complexities sorted out in sexual dynamics. She likely sends the same confusing messages to the man, but depending upon his own MOON/VENUS aspects in the natal, he'll either have a battle-plan, or he won't. On the mundane side, this could lead to the dreaded, 'where you do want to eat?' 'Oh, wherever,' which has led to many a couple's row. The solution, as usual, tends to be something obscene in response, leading to the bedroom and ordering in. VENUS opposite MOON -- solved! IP: Logged |

Yeah. As long as everything's perfectly fine between you both, I don't think there's anything to worry about. He chose you, for who you are. IP: Logged |

His venus isn't opposite his moms, actually I think it is trine his moms, if anything. But his venus is very closely opposite my moon actually!! Is that bad then?:O Also, I found out that his mother got venus square uranus in her natal, like my boyfriend also got this aspect. And my uranus is also very tightly square his venus in our synastry. It's a bit funny or what? But also a bit scary, since this isn't exactly a nice aspect:S But in general I feel we are having a good and close bond to each other, so it's not like I am afraid that it cannot work, it's just that I'm a bit curious to find out more about these energies... I might find out something important IP: Logged |
