Welcome to IA and LL, BB.Short answer, no. I don't see anything denoting an 'obsessive' connotation in the provided synastry.
Long answer, if there IS obsessive behaviour present between the two involved in the synastry provided, there are other ways besides the most basic astrological points, to delve more deeply to understand it.
Conclusion: there isn't anything obsessive on a basic level in this synastry. There MIGHT be a quindecile between the male VENUS and female MARS which could incite the woman to pursue the man in an obsessive context. However, these energies are unbalanced at the most basic level and incompatible.
Instead, her VENUS might be quintile (hard to say) his MARS, which is a good, creative compatibility, but hardly obsessive.
I'm going to suspect the TOB isn't known for the man, so the houses are inapplicable at this point, meaning we can only look at aspects, and your house placements. His VENUS is cusping your 8H, which shows that his aesthetic is sexually appealing to you. His MERC is in your 5H, so you probably enjoy playful communication.
The base dynamics here are most conducive to a friendship and / or colleagues. His SUN in your 6H is the natural placement for a coworker, but his MOON might be in your 10H, again highlighting the professional rather than personal sphere.
Nothing is hitting your IC, nor really making aspects to MERC, its ruler. So, nothing denoting a soul connexion, either. IF his MOON placement were accurate, it would be conjunct JUPITER, which is your 7R (rules your 7H). Otherwise, nothing makes those aspects at present.
I'd say the most noteworthy aspect between you is a close (within 3°) SUN opposite SUN, which is an 'opposites attract' sort of vibe. It can be enriching, bring to us experiences that expand our horizons, but without anything more personal or deepening, it tends to be a fleeting fascination, or remain a casual association.
