I think I have quite significant chemistry with my girlfriend, but a rather underwhelming composite chart. I never thought we’d get together tbh, but here we are now.. officially dating. Despite the mutual attraction. It took us almost 4 months to say we’re a couple. The composite is shockingly underwhelming, with a badly aspected venus.
I’ve never been in a relationship with a comp Venus/Saturn square and not much else going on.
The Davidson chart tells a whole different story tho.. there venus is conj Sun and North Node in 10th house.
So I was wondering, how relevant is it? I’ve never paid attention to the Davidson chart before her. This time I was curious and when I saw the chart I felt like this actually reflects more, how we feel about each other..
Is the Davidson the reason why we got together after all? This relationship feels surprisingly significant to both of us, it’s almost like “this is it now”.

Here are the charts. Tell me what you think, would appreciate, thank you

Maybe this will help?

The Davison chart puts more emphasis on the “here and now” especially the “here and now” problems that any couple will have face. The midpoint chart is more of a chart of the essence of the couple-showing its general potential and liabilities. It’s a bit “lofty” compared to the Davison, which is very “warts and all.” I use the Davison to tackle real-world issues and the mp to tackle spiritual or psychological issues. But again, this is not always cut and dried.

Thank you Dhyana

How can I interpret a composite Saturn square Venus, when the Davidson chart shows a 10th house Venus conj North Node and Sun?

I always thought Saturn square Venus is a huge blockage to the love expression of a couple. Our comp Venus is in 5th house of love and romance.
This relationship is super romantic, tho. We had a bumpy start and I had trouble saying ‘I love you’ bc it felt to early, until she was the one who said ‘I love you too’ without me having said anything prior. Since then all blockage on my part just fell away, and we’re saying and showing each other how much we’re in love all the time. Usually when I had a comp Venus/Saturn square with someone, that encounter never developed beyond a sexual affaire. It felt like it was impossible to actually fall in love with each other.

I guess Dhyana means that, you use one for the every day, and the other for the character of the relationship.

If you've only been together 4 months, or under 1 year, the deeper parts of the relationship may not appear yet.

4 months, btw, is for sure a short time to declare yourselves as a couple.

off topic, but you have interesting synastry for me.

Also off topic, would be good if you could reduce the aspect lines? But it looks like there are THAT many aspects. I'd like to see a grid.

Hi Sassaqua

here’s the chart + data sheet without most of the aspects between asteroids. Birth times are correct
I like to use asteroid aspects though.. in this case we have Eros exactly trine Psyche for example, which is deemed to be significant for some.

Waiting 4 months until I declare a relationship is actually quite long for me, tbh. Usually I fall in and out of relationships very quickly. I’m a serial monogamist.
We’ve been intimate for 7 months now.

Thank you for your honesty, though. Tell me what you see in the synastry and partner horoscope. Appreciate your honesty

Both your personal and attraction planets are heavily aspected, which creates intimacy and friendship. Only time can tell if it becomes too crowded/intrusive.

I like to see an easy aspect between Mars and (her) Saturn. Saturn shapes Mars's energy, which Mars really likes. It creates a mutual usefulness to the union.

Her Chiron trine Venus is a winner.

She has a tsquare with her Mars, Venus & Neptune/Uranus. The apex of where your Mars and Venus is. So that's quite a bit of tension. Especially with your Mars's square.

Her Venus needs support here, as it is squared by large forces. It gets that support from your Moon. This is a lovely tender placement that can be considered just right and both can benefit (Venus and Moon is nice). It's also encouraged along with her lovely aspect from her Jupiter.

There is support from her Saturn trining her Venus too. But what shape is her Saturn in? It's square Pluto. But this is ok, given such a lovely overall picture.

And you have your own tsquare, with your Sun/Mercury, Uranus and Moon. The apex of which is where her Sun and Mercury are also. But which is supported by her Mars this time, and her Moon.

Her Moon opposite your Pisces Sun I see as a supportive energy. But only if it's in good condition and has some other supports - which, I sort of think it does because it has the trine from (both) your Sun's depositor: Neptune. Another soft touch for the tender Moon, which is just right.

Both of your Moons then have some very nice comforts. But they are also challenged and have their moments.

I see the tsquares that you both have as the center, and the sensitive points (of any chart). Here, you have enough elements to support each other.

The relationship may switch from one persons tsquare tensions to the other's, supporting each other and getting into a nice rhythm: tension, make up, learn, grow.

Providing you can make it past the hard times, which are those pesky squares with Mars/Mars, Mars-Saturn, Pluto-Mars (a tricky one), Neptune and Uranus from her. And the power struggles that come with all of these.

Your Moon is not as well aspected and, hers too has some issues. Also, you may want to have clear communication with each other which sometimes may be difficult.

With all those conjunctions you may find that you need to separate to find yourself again occasionally, or eventually.

IMO and you're welcome.
