Faith, there are many interesting things in your synastry but this Saturn-SN-Venus thing made me stop and ponder. Do you ever feel like you've met before? Btw, you forgot about Vertex. Btw2, could you describe how his Jupiter conjunct your NN affects you if you're able to? I have exactly the same thing with my favorite celeb, my Jupiter conjunct his 4th house NN And my Jupiter rules an angle too.------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |

All my favourite musicians aspect my chart highly. I don't really care for celebrity but musicians can do it for me because of the true emotion. I'm currently in love with Sufjan Stevens... His music and voice are so beautiful it's almost painful! Some of his lyrics touch my heart so much. We were both abandoned by our mothers and raised by our fathers so I relate to him a lot there. His Venus conjunct my SN/Angel by 1 deg, trining my Venus by 3 deg. His Sun on my DSC exact, conjunct my Jupiter 1 deg, opp my Saturn/Neptune ASC exact, his Mars opp my Sun 4 deg, his Jupiter opp my Mercury/Mars 4 deg, a lot of his placemenst fill out my t-square into a grand cross. I am so happy he exists! His music enriches my life 1000%. My top 3 favourite musicians right now are all born the same year which I find really interesting. Pluto on my Moon that year. IP: Logged |

Only a couple of them. And, because a friend of mine (in each instance) swore that he was checking me out. In the case of the first -- yeah, okay. It was obvious enough. But the second? For one, he's not a flirt, is very respectful of his wife (then fiancee) and, I hardly believe I'm his type. Nonetheless, the astrology (with the second) was revealing. I never did check the first. Huh. I should, just for kicks. Especially if we ever work together. I'll admit; I had a total actor crush on the first back in college. He's pretty cute. IP: Logged |

Attraction doesn't have to be romantic or sexual, silly It can be platonic or even unspecified. You feel some kind of pull towards him, you can't deny. I guess it would've been less confusing if I've used the word "drawn".------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |

*deep breath* I almost started crying when I read that! Maybe because you capture the energy of the King so well, for reasons you know well. YES. I have felt like I know him personally, though it's not a sensation that's always active within me. It comes and goes. But the mental idea of it remains. He came to me in a dream before I was ever a fan, and healed me through this dream. Thing is, I understood him completely then, before ever reading any books about him. I MET him. Once I started reading his biographies, I was like, "Oh I know this...oh right, I knew that..." because his whole essence had come through in the dream. I sound totally crazy but this is real to me, and I'm not even getting into thick of it. But I do want to add a few people close to him have said that he comes to them so vividly in their sleep, that for a few minutes after they wake up, they can't believe he wasn't just there. That was my experience. He was THERE. quote: Originally posted by Aunt Anomalia: Btw, you forgot about Vertex.
I will research and post. ETA: Ok, I'm posting: His Vertex 28.10 Cancer My draconic moon 28.11 Cancer My Saturn 0.36 Leo My Vertex not really active here, if I have my birth time correct. Did I mention before that his draconic Jupiter is conjunct his sun and mine? It's on our composite sun. That's interesting. Well Jupiter is often associated with death, and my father died on that day between our two birthdays, and he had already chosen an Elvis song to be played at his funeral-- How Great Thou Art-- before he knew I liked Elvis. My father's Elvis asteroid: 0 Scorpio Elvis' Elvis asteroid: 0 Scorpio In draconic, Elvis has my name asteroid at: 29 Libra quote: Originally posted by Aunt Anomalia: Btw2, could you describe how his Jupiter conjunct your NN affects you if you're able to? Elvis was excessively interested in death. Jupiter in the 8H/Scorpio tends to be. Plus he has that Pisces moon, and lost his twin, and then his mother. He spent a lot of time in graveyards and morgues. He would actually take his friends to the morgue to see dead bodies. It was always on his mind, especially since he believed he would die young. He *enlarges,* Jupiter-style, Scorpio themes for me, including issues surrounding death, reincarnation, and actually I'd say, the nature of the soul. He was completely immersed in the occult (something few people know or take seriously, but that's the essence of who he was) but also kept an eye on Christianity, and paid his respects to religion. When I was transitioning out of Christianity and feeling guilty, Elvis was my lifeline. I don't know how to describe it, but it's like he vibrates in a way that resonates with me on a very deep level, and helps me figure out what to do. It feels like a very intimate guru-student relationship that's been happening for lifetimes. He is not your usual kind of person.

Wow. I had your past life on my mind but this is good too. I can actually believe that. Do you have any other theory on why he visited you apart from the guru scenario? How about a soulmate or/and your past life spouse? In what way did he heal you (you don't have to answer if you're not comfortable with going into the details)? Thanks for explaining the Jupiter thing, it was interesting to read. When you said I know well why I remind you of him it wasn't that clear to me besides sharing bdays and having entertainer potential. It looks like I inherited my fascination with the occult and death from the King You know what? I'm gonna generate my synastry and composite with him! Any asteroid requests? ------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |

Feel free to add those charts to my Elvis thread (linked above!) I will think about asteroids but 17059 ELVIS is the no-brainer. I haven't done much with asteroids myself. And thank you for believing me...thing is, one might guess that I just feel like I know him because our suns are conjunct. But I feel like he is only superficially like me. There is a much deeper, more mystical, more powerful...world...that he seems to hearken from. Theories apart from the guru scenario...well when I said he's like a guru, I didn't mean that in the past we spent one-on-one time together. I get the feeling I was a disciple, amongst many. Almost like he could have been a Pharoah (stop laughing...why are you laughing, I'm serious...) with a perfect psychic connection to all people within a very broad circle.
But that's actually not that unheard of. Tibetan monks are reknowned for telepathy, so I assume the Dalai Lama communicates with his subordinates mentally. Did you see that his Vertex is exactly conjunct my draconic moon? IP: Logged |

You don't become THAT popular and 'timeless' without being 'round the circle a few times, having made a significant impact beforehand. So, I agree. IP: Logged |
