My relationship with my boyfriend of 3 years has been all over the place. Lots of drama and commitment issues from his side. Huge commitment phobic. I think Uranus is to blame.

I am wondering what to expect once the current transits finally some to an end. One ends by the end of this month. The others in the beginning of April. Any experience or input to offer? Will the dark cloud lift once these transits end? I know it won't lift by magic overnight as these influences linger a while, but will this horrible period improve soon?

His Uranus transits:

Uranus conj ASC
Uranus square Sun
Uranus square MC

Uranus is just starting to enter his 1st.

Uranus is in his 8th in his natal chart. Moon square Uranus. This is a rough one because his Moon is in Aquarius in the 11th and he is emotionally not the warmest. Mercury sextile Uranus. Venus semi-sextile Uranus. Mercury is in natal 10th and Venus in the 9th both in Cap.

Me:

Currently Uranus is transiting towards the end of my 12th and semi square Sun, Merc and Venus. I don’t feel any real influence though on myself. In my natal chart Uranus is in the 6th.

Jupiter is transiting both our 5th houses and Juno our 7th houses (Juno’s in my natal 5th and his 7th). I was hoping this would help things, but doesn’t seem to.

Transit Saturn will soon enter his 9th and mine will also be in the 9th soon after.

Composite:

This is an interesting one. Uranus is indeed in our composite 7th Scorpio. However, also in our 7th we have the Sun, Mercury, Venus (Libra) Jupiter (Libra) and Vesta and making good aspects.

Please share your input and experiences with those transits in particular. What did you go through during those and what happened once it came to an end in particular? How did things improve once the Uranus transits were over?

We both like more freedom in a relationship than most, but it really is to the point of crazy how commitment phobic he is. I’ve never known anyone in my life so afraid of it.

No one got any input on this at all? I am really feeling the sting of these Uranus transits, as can be expected. What I desperately need to know is what happens once these Uranus transits move on? Do these Uranus transits sting hardest as they draw to a close?

My relationship has become one moment of extreme anxiety to the next. My bf's commitment fears are EXTREME. When I say commitment fears then I am not talking anything like moving in together, engagement or marriage. I am simply talking about getting him to even call it a relationship. He is scared to death of anything remotely to do with relationships/commitment.

Things should improve once Uranus moves on, but what to expect then?

I just want to update on the situation for others going through Uranus transits and the affects on relationships.

His Uranus transits that I mentioned previously have finally moved on. Of course, I know it makes itself felt for a while after still. There has been a significant improvement over the past month and particularly the past 2 weeks. Has caught me a bit by surprise actually. He has been very eager to keep me happy and we've been doing things I enjoy for a change - things he has ended up enjoying as well. He even invited me to attend a wedding with him. How about that? Two marriage phobics at a wedding?! There is definitely a feeling of renewal and he is generally much more relaxed around me.
