Topic: Guy isn't my usual type but it's going well - any reason why?

First guy I've been interested in awhile; he's a coworker- noticed him a year ago but it wasn't until About 5 months ago we started talking. Conversation flows pretty naturally and I feel really comfortable with him, which doesn't happen a lot. I'm a libra, he's Taurus, I don't usually gravitate towards Tauruses. He's 6 younger and I don't usually go for anyone more than 3. So kinda wondering from an astrological standpoint... why him?I'm extremely new at this...is it the Moon Sextile Mercury? Any interpretations would be nice. Thank you!  Im inside, he's outside

First thing I noticed is your Mercury trines his Mercury which explains the nice flow of communication between you. Is his birth time correct?
If so, than I would agree that his Moon making 'soft' aspects to both your Mercury and Venus definitely adds to the pleasant interaction you have with him.
Another big thing is your that your Saturn trines his Sun, making you feel a sense of commitment even though your not necessarily attracted to him. The good thing is that it's not too heavy or karmic so you could pull away if you really wanted to.
Overall I agree that your Mercury aspects are the prime focus to your connection. However, I think eventually it could become boring since your Mars and Pluto don't make any strong aspects to his planets.

breezy,What you describe as smooth, light communication is probably due to your Uranus, Neptune and especially Moon falling into his 3rd house. Moon in 3rd is good for expressing your emotional side via words, you will enjoy talking to him a lot. But it doesn't mean he will understand and nature your emotions/feelings. His Venus is in opposition to your Moon. Also, even though your Mercuries trine (good chat), your Venus in Scorpio is in opposition to his Mercury in Taurus so spend some considerable time getting to know each other and you will find out that you disagree with his views quite a bit. But oppositions are good, don't worry. If you work on them, not only you can get to the root of the problem and solve it, you will soon enjoy the dynamics of this aspect. With oppositions negatives can also become positives. Attraction between you is great. His Mars in your 8th house, your Mars on his Asc. Check out Lotis White's descriptions of attraction pattern in primary and secondary relationship houses.Your 5th is Capricorn and he puts jupiter, neptune and uranus there. He also puts Saturn, ruler of your 5th into your 7th. Your 8th house is in Aries and he puts Mars there. Your dsc is in Pisces and he puts both rulers of your 7th in your 5th. The traditional ruler of Pisces is Jupiter and your Jupiter is placed in Cancer and he has Moon in Cancer. It seems like this guy really fulfills your relationship signature, hitting your 5th with your 7th house rulers, the energy of your 7th ruler which is in Cancer and is also his 10th house, Capricorn again and your 8th with exactly the energy you want, Mars. Your Mars and Sun (significators for the type of man a woman wants) are conjunct in Libra conjunct his Ascendant as well. The better question would be why wouldn't he suit you? Lol Your secondary houses. Your 5th in Capricorn means your 10th house is your secondary 5th since Cap rules the 10th. He puts Venus there. Your secondary 7th is the 12th and he puts nothing there but that energy is well covered in the primary houses. I have found that when one is involved with some onewho is not one's normal type that chiron places a large a parthere his chiron is conjunct your mars and his node/chiron midpoint is conjunct your sun todd IP: Logged |
