Thank you, Mir, for having brought this to my attention - again.

I was aware of those, and how they seemed more "logical" to me initially.
However for some reason I never got to explore them, probably because the other progressed angles (which move only 1 degree per year roundabout, which is actually inconsistent in terms of the theoretical basis of secondary progressions and is more or less a mix of secondary progressions, solar arc and something I don`t get).

However, since everyone used the Naibod-angles and they do seem to work quite well, I sort of just resigned myself to that, also, without really checking the quotidian angles.

I did so today, and imagine my surprise, when I made my first own chart progressed with Quotidian angles today, THIS came up:

p ASC 17°28 Aquarius
p Moon 17°38 Leo
n Moon 17°06 Aquarius

lol

And as if that is not enough

pMC 11°47 Sagittarius
pNeptune 11°14 Sagittarius
n NN 10°09 Sagittarius
n Jupiter 11°13 Pisces

When I first read it yesterday I think, it was

pMC 10°38 Sagittarius
n NN 10°10 Sagittarius.

What a beautiful example for how they seem to work!

I checked just shortly Mr Sag`s quotidian angles when his son was being born.

He was having pMoon EXACT conjunct 5th house cusp by 2 minutes!!!!

(and the pASC was conjunct his nUranus by 1 degree).

Another thing I find - theoretically- beautiful about the concept of quotidian angles is how they can be used as great timing tools, as daily progressions, as the MC moves around 1 degree per day, and the ASC can even move up to 2 degrees per day, they are even greater in finetuning events to a certain DATE (like in a specific. DAY) than the p Moon (which is great for finetuning to the month or the week).

Of course I have to check some more dates now.

Oh and I found this quote

"That is a form of day-per-year progression. It is one of two forms of what are called “secondary progression.” The first kind is called Naibod secondary. The other is Quotidian, which means *daily*. There is just one difference — in Quotidian, the angles of the chart move in a way that is proportionate to a real chart, that is, they are timed to sidereal time. I have never been able to figure out the movement of the angles in Naibod secondary progressions; it makes no sense to me, and the timing of events in Naibod does not return a chart with accurate angles.

That is to say: if there is a New Moon by secondary progression that occurs on a certain date in “real time” (for example, at age 39) and you go back and look at the derived time on the 39th day of life, you will not get a chart you recognize *by its ascendant and MC* unless you use Quotidian secondary progressions. When I discovered this, I switched to using Quotidian secondary progressions (Q2) rather than Naibod (and I do believe that most secondary progressions use Naibod).

That said, Naibod progressions often give interesting results for the angles, but they did not ‘fit reality’ — I still chose not to use that formula once I realized it was not returning charts with angles that were proportional to real time, just like the rest of the chart is."

So did I.

BTW my mom had a quotidian progression on her wedding day that read:

"M.C. TO MIDPOINT SUN/MARS
The tendency to do one's work for the love of it, to accept
responsibility gladly. In female nativity
the meaning implied is; Union with the husband also marriage ."

For me, PAsc = 1GEM35. Nearest natal planet is Venus 10GEM29. Looked forward to PAsc = Venus. That is 20 January 2016. Wonder what it means?

Holy **** !

Faith,
do you remember that concert I told you about a while ago, when he was saying (well writing and reading) I was driving him crazy?

I knew that I was having a tertiary progressed New Moon that day, falling onto my natal DESC, but now with the quotidian angles it gets even CRAZIER!!!

n DESC 7°09 Gemini
tp Sun 7°53 Gemini
tp Moon 8°41 Gemini
tp ASC 6°27 Gemini

Whoa, now that is what I call a New Moon.

Additionally

my tp MC 3.05 Aqua
my tp Uranus 3.47 scorpio r

Which is almost hilarious considering he had at that time

tp ASC 00°42 Leo (just had entered it THAT day, and also was conjunct our composite DESC exact of course)

making a Grand trine with

tp Venus 00°12 Aries (just starting the new cycle)
tp uranus 29°56 Scorpio

so his tp ASC = tp Venus/Uranus (direct midpoint, very close)

VE/UR=AS Flirtations. (betrothal or marriage). Excitement about the love of others.A projection of sexiness, the demonstration of love in the presence of
other people. A sudden contact, a hasty engagement.

So I guess he wasn`t even half kidding?

WEll of course it means my n Uranus on 1.21 Scorpio was right there to square all that, and not surprisingly so - I am always Uranus for him. lol

Additionally his tp MC was on 6 Aries, conjunct his tp Mars by 1 degree.
Well it was not only conjunct my natal IC on 5 ARies, but squared my n Venus on 6 Cap naturally.

In fact he had a line up of

tp Venus 00 Aries
tp Sun 03 Aries
tp Mars 05 Aries
tp MC 06 Aries

resulting in the midpoint pictures of

Sun = Venus/MC
Sun= Venus/Mars

SUN TO MIDPOINT VENUS/M.C.
Self-love vanity and conceit; the desire to catch lime-light, the
expectation of admiration from other people; confident sense of
attractiveness; success.
the bliss of being loved by another.

SUN TO MIDPOINT VENUS/MARS
A strong physical love; artistic power of creation; marriage,
conception.

Well it also meant however that the tp IC fell right in between his tp Jupiter (5 Libra) and tp Saturn (6 Libra) - expansion and restriction at the same time - Jeez, that reads like a script!

The Mars-Jupiter-opposition along that was most exact. 0.00 orb

IC conjunct Saturn only 10 minutes of orb, too.

And the tightest midpoint pictures were:

Well, a triple combination. lol

Venus = Uranus/ASC 0.07 d
(AC = Venus/Uranus 0.37 d
Uranus = ASC /Venus 0.30 d)

AS/UR=VE To fall in love suddenly.
Being sexy; showing oneself in an exciting fashion; emphasising
individual new looks of any kind. The desire to beautify one's environment
as quickly as possible. The tendency to take the line of least
resistance with regard to the growth of an attachment.

AS/VE=UR Suddenly in love. Surprising experience of sympathy and goodwill.

Intense flair; attractiveness to others. Love at first sight.

VE/UR=AS Flirtations. Betrothal or marriage. Excitement about the love of others.

A projection of sexiness, the demonstration of love in the presence of
other people. A sudden contact, a hasty engagement.

and then there were

Mercury= Node/Mars 0.05
Plans to collaborate, co-operate, share; promotion through
partnerships; community-minded; salesmanship; publicity

Mercury = Node/Jupiter 0.06

Cultivation and exchange of ideas with others, organising and
arranging associations or unions, sociableness. Joint or shared success, good
co-operation between people.

plus a few wider but unhappier ones

MC = Jupiter/ SAturn 0.17

Studying one's philosophy of life; speaking with great maturity;
studying hard; asking the right questions. Change, a fortunate separation, a
journey.

Moon = Saturn/Neptune 0.23
Emotional drain, feeling inhibited, lack of emotional maturity.
Illness through emotional suffering

Mercury = Saturn/NOde 0.23
Thoughts that appeal to others because they are sound, conservative,
and respectful; strategy; news of sadness. The inclination to form
one's own conclusions, difficulty in exchanging ideas with others.

ASC TO MIDPOINT MERCURY/NEPTUNE 0.30
The tendency to open oneself to the influences coming from other
people, potential overreaction, the state of being exploited or deceived by
others.

just the direct ones even. lol and very close.

It was quite a weird and funny evening. lol

Comdoc,

you will let us know on 21st.

Well, of course the angles move very quick, so they might always trigger some planet, but if there are more indications, like transits hitting that as well, or pr planets, then there might be happening something nice, maybe having to do with romance, creativity or children, (Venus will rule the 5th house at that time, right?)

Thanks, Ceri. Of course will let you all know. Looks like 5H ruler is Mercury--which is square Jupiter in 5H. Libra is intercepted in the 5H, with Venus conj Eros in 7th. Solar Arc Mercury is conj Mercury--Pluto in 8H.

OMG, I'm in email contact with a new girl who's on a business trip, and due to return in "less than 2 weeks"!

but on 20th jan. the p ASC (quotidian) will be some degrees further, and that means that the cusp of 5th house could ruled by Venus then.

Ah okay, there is no angular Venus though.
Oh wait yes, the pASC is brought to your NATAL Venus, right? Seems important, whatever Venus means in your chart, it will be brought to the forefront.

Hmm it`s on my SN. lol

Anyway, I wonder how the Neptune-transit feels or will feel for you. might not be so strong yet, but it will become very prominent.

I just found this thread while googling for some more info about quotidian, lol.

Impressive results here!

You're a step ahead of me Ceri, I can't use the tertiary quotidian angles (no terti option on the software here). Those must be moving really fast I can imagine. But if I have to use those also I'm really getting crazy .. it's now already a chaos with the innumerable combined charts on PD haha.

Because of my own amazing results it's also really recommendable to look at the 'conversed quotidian angles'. I bet you will find even more when his son was born.

Yes, as of now I focus more on the progressed chart with quotidian angles. Especially sorting out the midpointpictures and angular planets. It`s stunning for me!

as for his chart when his son was being born
---------------------------------------------

Forward progression
---------------------

°pASC on 21°53 Scorpio:
conjunct converse Sun on 21°52 Scorpio
conjunct converse Uranus on 21°20 Scorpio

- that is if we are allowed to compare forward and converse progressions of course

° pMC on 12°21 Virgo, just past his natal Mars on 11°04 Virgo (the day before I guess)

° pPoF on 11°16 Virgo conjunct his n Mars by 12 minutes

° pMoon on 12°50 Aries conjunct p 5th cusp on 12°39 Aries (Placidus)

° conv Sun on 21°52 Scorpio conjunct conv 5th cusp on 22°37 Scorpio (applying of course)

° conv MC on 13°05 Aries applying conjunct to p Moon on 12°50 Aries

as for midpoint pictures

forward progressions

Sun = Neptune/MC 0°13
Sun = Moon/ASC 0°09!

Saturn = Sun/ASC 0°17
Saturn = Moon/MC 0°49
Saturn = Mercury/ASC 0°51
(certainly an increase in responsibility)

ASC = Neptune/Pluto 0°10
ASC = Sun/MC 0°24

MC = Venus/Mars 0°36
MC = Sun/Pluto 0°22
MC = Mars/jupiter 0°19
MC= Mercury/Plut 0°13

and conversely

Sun = Jupiter/ASC 0°32
Moon=Jupiter/MC 0°56

Venus = Pluto/ASC 0°10

Saturn=NOde/MC 0°20
Saturn = Jupiter/MC 0°45

Uranus= Jupiter/ASC 0°00!

ASC = Moon/Venus 0°30
ASC = Uranus/Pluto 0°46

MC= Neptune/ASC 0°57
MC = Neptune/Node 0°18
MC = Sun/Node 0°35

(there certainly was a bit of bewilderment, but happily so, as well)

Possibly those which are made with pASC, pMC; pSun, pMoon, con Sun and con MC might be most signifanct as they seemed to have been connected to the birth (5th house cusp) or being emphasized that day anyway (through conjunction to an angle).

You`re welcome.

Otherwise, if you use the current location with progressions, then pick those. I always use my birthplace, but others may do it differently.
