Just as a foreword: I donīt really want to go into the Davison vs Composite discussion here.

However I only recently realized that Mr Sag`s and my Davison was having its solar return in june. Well on 18th june to be exact.
It never occurred to me before that in a way this is the "relationshipchart birthday", but I have often noticed that things seem to happen, or actually starting to move right about end of may-mid june. (and then again around mid-end august - have not solved THAT puzzle though. ).

Of course this time around our Davison-birthday coincided with some other celestial concurrences.

But I just wanted to share our Solar Return that JUST started (and only about 2 days before his own individual lunar return) for this year..

curiously enough we got into a little chat RIGHT about the time of the exact solar return, I mean same day, it was just a few hours old.
I am always amazed at his sense of astro-timing, and almost suspicious he knows more about astrology than he lets on.

Anyway while musing about DAvisons-birthdays (Solar return), I stumbled across a topic (seems I was not the first one having that thought. )
http://www.astro.com/astrology/tma_article150106_e.htm

so this our Davison`s Solar Return

and this is our basic Davison with Solar in the outer circly

BTW in both progressed Davison charts - with Mr Sag AND Mr. Lancelot - my nameasteroid is almost on the same degree, on 6 Libra in the one with Lancelot, on 7 Libra in pr DAvison with Mr Sag.
(and no, they don`t have a conjunction of my name in synastry, they are about 19 or 20 degrees apart, as my name in lancelot`s natal chart is on 20 Aquarius, my name in Mr Sag`s natal is on 9 Pisces).

BTW in the year they got married, my parents had a widish (6 degrees) Moon-Saturn-conjunction in their SR Davison, which represented a conjunction of the ruler of 1st and 7th house.

Saturn was also the Apex of a Yod with the Mercury-Venus-sextile.
Also SR NN on their Davison Venus; SR Juno on their Davison Vertex; SR Moon on their Davison Uranus exact.
In fact both planets, SAturn as well as Uranus, are very important for both of them natally, synastrically and appearing as part of their relating-profile.

-------------------

my best friend and her husband had in the Solar Return of the year they got married a new Moon, Sun-Moon conjuunction by 3 degrees, being one leg of a Yod, with the Sun-Moon sextile Saturn on the DESC and both quinkunt Pluto

(BTW natally Saturn rules her 7th and th house and his 1st house and disposits his Sun; Sun rules his intercepted 7th house; Moon rules his 7th house and is her chartruler).

NN on the DESC.

Plus SR Jupiter on the Pluto-ASC in Davison
SR DESC on their Vertex
SR Vertex on their Venus-Jupiter-conjunction
SR Saturn-MC on their Mars-Saturn
(btw my parents have it, too, Mars-Saturn in Davison - and composite- and both relationships really stood the test of time already)

I read an article that stated that we need to consider the angles mainly and angular planets, as this is what will manifest that year.

In their case not only Saturn was angular (her natal DESC and his natal ASC-ruler), but SR MC was falling onto DAvison Mars, which rules their Davison-DESC.

In my parents case SR Uranus was being brought to Davison IC, and Uranus rules their Davison DESC.

And SR Moon was being conjunct DAvison Uranus exactly (SR Moon ruling the DESC of the Return-chart).

Of course just 2 examples. But I just thought it was interesting that they both had:

° A Yod, with Saturn
° a Node conjunction to either DESC (Venus-point) or Venus herself
° natal or Davison DESC-ruler being not just emphasized but being made angular even.
I think in both cases it was the MC-IC-axis even.

Of course just 2 examples, and both couples have strong astrological similiarities, but I still found it curious

For my brother and his girlfriend (unmarried) who expect their first child in about 4 weeks, I notice

SR Juno exact on SR MC exact on Davison Mercury on 27 Virgo (conjunct my brother`s natal DESC, and obviously Mercury rules it)

Mercury rules the DESC of the SR itself, and not only does SR MC fall onto DAvison Mercury, but SR Mercury falls onto DAvison DESC.

SR NN conjunct Davison Vertex

SR ASC conjunct Davison Jupiter in 8th house

and of course I was keeping my eyes looking for anything touching the 5th house, either in Davison or Solar Return (because of the upcoming birth).

Well SR 5th house itself is empty, however there is

SR Moon conjunct SR Venus, falling onto Davison Mars in 5th house, (Moon-Mars exact, and this is known to be a fertility-aspect. lol)

SR Mars falls onto Davison Venus (ruler of the DESC - hence we have once again a 1st-7th house ruler conjunction), but in 6th house, however these two interaspects are so close, I would not dream of splitting them up. lol

SR Venus 14 Leo
Sr Moon 17 Leo
Sr Mars 20 Leo
(of course it means that Moon is on the exact Venus/Mars-mp

Eberting writes about that one:

"Strong emotional impulses, an early desire for marriage. Motherhood. Birth."

Davison Mars 17 Leo
Davison Venus 23 Leo

Of course that means that SR Mars falls onto the exact midpoint of Venus/Mars in the Davison

(it`s opposing SR Ceres on 15 Aqua btw)

Interestingly the baby is due on 25th july (funny enough the same date Mr Sag`s first son was due, too, at least accroding to him). so it is more than likely the baby will be a little Leo.
