Would you count a conjunction of Venus and North Node with 6-7 degree orb in synastry? If not, does it matter that they are in the same sign and close to each other?IP: Logged |

Orbs tend to be personal preferences to astrologers. Personally I think that more than 5° is too wide even for planet-planet conjunctions in synastry to have a strong effect. And I shave a couple of degrees for mathematical points unless there is a mutual aspect to another planet to reinforce. That said, a personal planet in the same sign as the NN is still going to give some incentive or perhaps some comfort to the NN person to move towards the NN.

No, but you might look to see if they are in parallel aspect using the True Node. Synastry needs tightened orbs, generally 5 degrees with a bit more for the luminaries, especially in aspect to each other (up to 7 or so). ------------------ The Declinations Guy Rising Sign Descriptions | Expert rectification ♈ ♉ ♊ ♋ ♌ ♍ ♎ ♏ ♐ ♑ ♒ ♓ IP: Logged |

And there`s your aspect. Yes, it is good. All synastry aspects by the benefics to the nodes, sun, moon, asc, mc are good.

I do, and I'll tell you why. This falls under the banner of 'karmic astrology'. Therefore, a NODE conjunction can technically be up to 10°, but I wouldn't go beyond 8°. IP: Logged |
