Have you experienced this? In my case it's my ascendant and his mars. But his mars is in Virgo so I don't know if he'll bother to make the first move. Seems kinda shy. He might be in a relationship with someone right now, but I don't know.IP: Logged |

I think this will depend on the sign the Mars is in as you've noted. For example, a Mars in Aries would probably go for it if all signals are go, however a Mars in Virgo may analyse for a bit and not let any attraction be known until they are sure. If you think the Mars is in a relationship, then it really depends on their integrity whether they would make a move or not (I don't believe this is sign dependent). edt IP: Logged |

In my limited experience, Voix de la Mer's analysis is quite accurate.Manderin, I lived out your Asc/Mars situation long ago. It involved my Asc and her Mars in Aires. To put it mildly, we had prompt ignition. However, the damned thing smoldered for almost 20 years before finally bursting into flames and lifting off. Then it fizzled out and crashed almost as quickly as it had started. What you'd expect of Aires, now that I think about it. Seems like a Virgo deal might require careful cultivation, more like starting tomato seeds inside on the windowsill. IP: Logged |

Hello, I have a friend who has this aspect as well with her beau. Granted that I'm not with them 24/7 (we live in different states), I'm really curious as to how it played out.She has Taurus Ascendant, while he has Taurus Mars. Would you say that Taurus would be overly analytical as well? Usually the earth signs do tend to take their time, being overly cautious...but, being that Taurus is a Fixed sign, I wonder if it would be slower in their case or more "ready-set-go" (being that they are sensual, very touchy-feely when being affectionate, and tenaciously stubborn/persistent). I suppose I would have to talk to my friend to see how she felt...but I think, initially, she was rather shy and didn't know how to approach him. Interestingly enough, their Mars sextile each other. But her Mars (Cancer) has no effect on his Aquarius Ascendant. Thank you very much for your input! ------------------ "Belief is like laying in the dark with someone and telling them you love them and hearing nothing back." IP: Logged |

There's stimulation and then there's stimulation. Mars contacts to the ascendant can be very energising but also have the potential to be rather irritating. You might find these links helpful - Mars-Ascendant Aspects Mars in 1st House Synastry IP: Logged |
