- be very focused on you and gives you his undivided attention when you communicate - looks at you, speaks to you if you're in a group, texts first and doesn't waste time responding
- when he's decided he's in love with you, it's only you and he doesn't glance or care about at others
- he's cheerful and humorous and really wants to make you laugh and have a good time
- he tries very hard to impress you and wants you to admire him
- he's very persevering and tenacious and keeps on trying to get you even if you give him a hard time
- puts in a lot of effort to win your affections because he rarely falls in love and when he's decided he has, he won't let go
- if he's not fully in love he doesn't care much for dating or sex and doesn't chase or peruse anyone

Some negative traits include:
- may be annoying with his obsessive tendency to make you his
- may be narcissistic and can get touchy if you offend or reject him but is quick to forgive if you apologize or give him affection
- inappropriate sense of humor and can't really be serious unless it's a very explicit confrontation
- although usually joyful and not easily pushed off the edge, his emotions run deep and if he's seriously hurt you may be in for drama
