Anything in the composite/synastry to suggest this?

Also ,are we meant or have the potential to be life partners and soulmates sometime in the future or are we more towards karmic short term partners?

Plus he has the Moon in 4th whilst you have a buildup of Mars/Venus and Moon in 7th. So whilst he is "homey", you enjoy being in a relationship and live for it.

In the composite I notice that you have Mars/Pluto conjunct. That energy can turn explosive because its so obsessive. So perhaps this distance is needed to have a little more perspective.

Yes we do enjoy being together very very much.So it could be that the joint moon is part of the reason.

Yes I do ..I do live for the moments of being in a good relationship (by my standards of what a good relationship is).

Perhaps..but up until the eclipse and supermoons and retrograde planets we never fought or any disagreements we're dealt with quickly and easily.

Also with sun opposite Venus and your Pluto forming a tsquare plus the moon conjunction you two have deep feelings for each other but Mars is weak in your synastry, I feel that indicates your sex life is not strong or will eventually not be strong. Without a strong Mars presence this relationship will start to feel more like a deep friendship as time passes, you will feel you love each other deeply but that something is missing. However you do have Mars conjunct Pluto in composite which is very sexual but is a wide conjunction and Pluto is retro but with Mars inconjunt mars in synastry I would say perhaps you two have different styles in your sexual nature and are at odds with eachother as to when you want to have sex, and with composite Mars in the 3rd perhaps you talk about having sex more than actually having sex, I wonder if Pluto retro reinforces this difficulty in expressing that side of your relationship. Add that Pluto retro is sesquisquare jupiter and mars inconjuncts Ceres so both Pluto and Mars are dealing with challenges that require adjustments and flexibility from both sides. Pluto rules the third house so you probably do communicate about these issues but it almost seems like that this deep attachment and comfort you have for each other and desire to nourish each other is undermining your sex life.

So karmic short term romantic partners (southnode in leo) but long term friends.

But then again Mars is your skipped step which rules the 8th house and falls in the 3rd house and inconjuncts mercury/ceres..
