Well, I think I would rather have Moon conjunct Moon. I have a Cap Moon, and my ASC is late Scorpio. I don't know that I have had Moon ASC all too often, but I do find I attract Sag Moons frequently. I love them, but Sag is not a sign that goes well with the rest of my chart. I am mostly Earth and Water, so this fire Moon is adorable but doesn't mesh well otherwise for me.

I would love the stability of another Cap Moon.

ASC definitely, depends tho, Moon conjunct ASC for relationship perhaps, Moon conjunct Moon for friendship, the thing with Moon conjunct Moon is both end up being far too similar, not for my taste, I mean I'd definitely date myself but I don't see the point in dating myself, there will be 4 gemini moons(hell! maybe even more than that) in the relationship, it'd be an absolute nutjob.

Moon conjunct Moon felt like meh for me. I had it with this one guy before and I didn't really like it. We had the same emotional reactions to things. He was more concerned of his own sh*t and had no concern for mine. We would be going through the same problems through transits at the same time and experiencing them the same way. Because of that, I felt disconnected like he was not really there for me. We both had Moon in Cancer, but I guess the selfish attitude came from his Aries sun.

I've only ever had Moon conjunct ASC with a friend and I honestly can say I like it better. I'm able to be there for them and vice versa when things are not going well in life.

Moon conjuct Ascendant but their Cancer Moon conjuct my Cancer AC. My moon in Cap conjunct my DC would ideally oppose their Cancer Moon.
