NO, don't ever do that. Make your decisions based on how YOU feel, what your intuition tells you, and what's it really like in reality. Charts show you potential & challenges but it doesn't mean everything will manifest in the said manner. Haven't you heard of people with Sun conj Venus that end up hating each other? Or Uranus square couples that lasted decades? It may also be a case where some find the energies too overwhelming to bear, yet some may find it bearable.

If the Davison Chart reveals the purpose of a relationship, would it not make sense to check if that purpose has been achieved before finally deciding to end the relationship?IP: Logged |

Yes, I would continue to see romantic potential through even if the synastry/composite was not classically good, although I would have a few reservations. When you get to a certain age, you've probably accumulated enough experience with different astrological energies that you begin to sense patterns. Like, "oh I really get along with people who have Moon in [Purple]", or "wow, I have consistently gotten into uncomfortable dynamics with people who have Venus in [Green]. I think I am going to avoid those in the future..." Then I think almost everyone can agree that tight Chiron aspects in synastry/the composite are pretty uncomfortable things more often than not. They can either be cathartic/healing or just nightmarish, so it's up to the native to feel whether they're okay with that or not.. So basically unless something was a blatant red flag to me based on experience, I would just see something through. It will either work or be another astrological learning experience to add to the repertoire. IP: Logged |

Just use atsrology to understand how YOU relate those energies and dynamics to your actual situation and see how it plays out in your reality and awareness! Once you understand how those energies play out and recognize those belonging to you, coming from yourself, you can keep those under control, improve it, channel it all towards a better outcome... then, there are other energies and events and people that are not under our control and we have to accept it.

Well, we had strong committment aspects (Composite Saturn 4th house conjunct Moon, NN and ASC) and comp. stellium... but also a lot of harsh aspects and not quite romantic ones (comp Uranus square Mercury and Mars, comp Mars opp Sun and Mercury, comp Chiron squares to the stellium, comp Saturn square Venus and Sun)... in fact, we never agreed about anything, lol, and it's been a constant fight! But we did love each other like family, with Uranus 10th house square Sun, and ASC square MC, and all those negative aspects, I would have said we would not last more than a couple of years... we ended up living in the same house for 19 years :-) IP: Logged |

Astrology aside, how do you feel about him right now? Do you feel like continuing? If yes, wait it out! But don't be like a sitting duck. Take advantage of the r/s potential and work on the difficulties. I gathered in your other thread that things are not looking good with the 2nd guy as you said you've walked away several times. There must be a reason why you did so, if not purely due to your impulsive emotional nature (Moon/Mars on ASC)? Look at the reality rather than the charts as they reflect our realities, not the other way around. And while we can't do anything to our charts, we certainly can do something to our reality. Why don't you post your Davison like what Graham suggested? It describes the r/s physical reality.

The chart will play out. One has to understand the entire chart. However, it will play out and no "willpower" or "spiritual evolution" will change that fact.------------------
