What do you think of a person having their personal planets in the same sign as the other person’s romantic houses? IP: Logged |

In the theory of overlay, it has to fall into that particular house, as it is said to "illuminate" that area for the house person. Similarly, it could be a different sign but falling in that house. IP: Logged |

Do you need planets in the 5th, 7th or 8th house for a relationship to be romantic? Are 10th house overlays significant? IP: Logged |

In all the charts I saw, there's almost always overlays in 5/7/8 houses even if it's just 1 or 2 planets in one of the houses. Either that or there'll be strong contacts to the ASC. E.g. my friend's planets don't fall in any of her husband's rs houses but she has Sun/Mercury/Uranus conjunct his ASC and an exact Moon conj Moon with him. Another to look out for is one person's NN in the same sign as the other person's ASC/Sun/Moon (doesn't have to be conjunct). Apparently this is highly attractive (esp NN-ASC). I've a thread somewhere on this. Contact to midheaven shows a couple's support for each other's professional life. Based on my observation, the planet person could also elevate the MC person's public image. My friend's boyfriend has 3 planets on her MC. Since knowing him, she has been projecting an image of being rich (due to hanging out with his circle of wealthy friends).

Thanks for your input I’ve read where people talk about the rulers of the 5th, 7th and 8th houses being conjunct to the other person’s planets or angles is significant. Also conjunctions to the IC. Do you think you’re friend will actually become rich due to the MC contacts?IP: Logged |

Not just conjunct, but the other aspects as well, and that's really common actually... to have your rs rulers aspected... but of course conjunction to 7R may be what some people need. However, for me... it has always been my 7th cusp Sagittarius that's activated, not my ruler in Aries. I legit have never fallen in love with anyone with personal planet in Aries. 🤷 There were 2 Aries guys who chased me like mad but I felt nothing. However, my boyfriends all have something in Sagittarius. I think it's also the fact that I've NN & Moon in Sag as well, but it still does not explain why I'm not attracted to Aries. As for conjunction to angles, yes, I mentioned that in my earlier post, didn't I, those planet conjunctions to ASC? Also, when your planets fall in your partner's 7H, they may conjunct their DSC as well. IC conjunctions are comfy and intimate, like family. MC may also be attractive even though this isn't traditionally a romantic house. Some people may feel attracted to the status a rs brings? No, I don't think my friend will become rich because of that, LOL. Synastry shows how that person makes you feel so that's a perception I believe she has. My friend is far from rich. Her boyfriend is far from rich. It's just his friends who are rich and they're not benefiting from their wealth. It's just an image thing. IP: Logged |

There are certain placements in a natal chart that show the possibility of marrying a wealthy spouse. Also I think there are synastry aspects that show this. But I know the MC is about our public image. I think it can show that the person might help you with your career and give you support. IP: Logged |

You are now talking about people who are destined to marry rich. This is seen in the natal. You seemed to know about this...perhaps you'll like to share? I'm curious too. Synastry aspects to MC may show career support but this is different from making you rich though, LOL. I wouldn't automatically associate it this way. IP: Logged |

I’ve read that Venus and or Jupiter in the 8th house could indicate marrying a wealthy spouse. IP: Logged |

I wonder if it's as simple as that... my friend has Jupiter in 8H and she married someone from a wealthy background, but my mom has the same placement and my dad's far from rich (lol). Perhaps because my friend's Jupiter is in its own sign Pisces whereas my mom's Jupiter is Peregrine. Still, I don't think one planet placement alone can make you marry rich. I believe there should be a configuration. However, I believe Jupiter in 8H can have wealth increase after marriage. IP: Logged |

What is Jupiter Peregrine? I have Jupiter in Pisces. Janet Jackson has Jupiter in the 8th house and she married rich but ended up getting a divorce.
