My two cents... His Venus conjuncts your South Node - meant to let him go Your Pluto squares his Sun/Venus/Mars - instinct is to reject (control) him. These planets also land in your 12th House. your synastry isn’t harmonious. I too wouldn’t hang out with so many difficult aspects like this to my natal chart. Transiting south node was conjunct your natal Mars when you met him - return of past life conflict.

Post the composite chart
interesting, thank you. guess what it makes me think like that is the past life connection. unfortunately, I don't have his birth time, so the composite is without houses

Yes Venus conj. south node. That feels like a soulmate. It hurts. Someone who I feel is the love of my life has their Venus right on my South Node/descendant so not only does he feel like my soulmate but there’s an INTENSE amount of attraction. There is no forward movement though and I feel there won’t be so vansio may be right. We need to let them go. I just can’t imagine doing that at this point and I’m guessing you can’t either. That’s interesting about transit south node being on your mars when you met. When we met, transit south node was on his Sun/my Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn. Could I borrow your post and ask vansio what that means?Vansio, what would it mean if I too have someone’s Venus on my South Node and when we met transit south node was right on his sun/my Jupiter conjunction in Capricorn?? It also look like you have the “love stellium” in your composite which is Sun Venus Mercury all conjunct. Some people think it’s overrated. I have this with an older male coworker and it adds a very good feeling of belonging in each other’s lives and love but for us it’s platonic. Our orbs are a little wider than yours too. IP: Logged |

Hey amber, basically the speculation is: Mars represents commanders (or war, also boy-friends), Jupiter represents counselors (also traditionally husbands), south node represents the past (releasing, liberation)—irregardless, the karmic nature of the nodal transit is meant for reconciling lifetimes: whoever embodies this planet at the moment of transit has come to serve some karma associated with it/them, for the sole purpose of us to reconcile, by embodying/incorporating through relating, our previous, unsettled transgression, I’d say. All of this happens subtly, subconsciously, but we grow from the “familiarity” you see? Our SN might end up behaving over time like «Thank you for the intel embedded in your planet, yet, seems I need to move on, to my North Node.» Between you and OP, SN transit was over masculine planets, so naturally, men came in, and both you and OP have this Venus-SN synastry, to show for it—their own attempts at “love-making” is how you might be reminded of that, call it a subtle self-knowledge, through experience of them. It’s comfortable, to say the least. Venus on SN can be the antithesis to our future, since NN is our desire. There are exceptions, like say if there was a planet also on NN on top of already exceptionally-harmonious synastry, but classically to even stay with the Venus person in such a connection, you’d be on the path towards asceticism (losses). Venus is pleasure, and SN is detachment, go figure. It’s definitely very spiritual, but not necessarily lucrative. In my first long term relationship, the week we met, transiting North Node was conjunct my Ex‘s Moon (represents a female). We had NN synastry conjunctions as well. Transit SN (and eclipse) was conjunct my Moon around the time we broke up. IP: Logged |

that's super interesting. We have some similarities. It's stuck here too. I didn't hear back from him since March but I have weird feeling that we are going to connect again

My friend has Venus conjunct south node with her husband. Very tight 2deg orb. The Venus person wanted to break away but SN person resisted. Still together after so many years. IP: Logged |

There is no Venus South Node contact here. The orb is far too wide - 5 degrees. Only orbs within 0 - 3 degrees should be considered.A Venus South Node conjunction can initially give a strong sense of having known each other before. Feelings can develop but will probably not lead to anything. This is often a financial aspect actually rather than romantic, where the south node person does most of the work. You're likely to have a stronger soulmate and emotional/personal/romantic connection with Sun South Node contacts. This is one of the ultimate soulmate aspects. Usually the Sun provides more for the south node person but it's still a mutual exchange. IP: Logged |
