for example jupiter signifies fidelity. A man i knew who had serious issues with fidelity became much more faithful in his relationship when he met someone who's NN conjunct his jupiter.

Notice I said MORE faithful. He did cheat on her eventually. Someone who is already inclined to cheating in the natal doesn't become an entirely different person just because of synastry.

jupiter also represents religion and philosophy. he did become a bit more interested in religion while with her. She herself had an interest in the topic.
