I want to say five years, since his co-ruler(sun) is sextile your co-ruler(moon) He is in the sixth house in Virgo, a traditional house and sign, before you get married he wants to plan it very carefully. You are in Scorpio in the ninth, meaning you are in such a rush to get married, you love him dearly. However, it will take him a while to come around, just be patient.  I'll see if I can get more. Thanks for looking into it Whitewitch! There's no one at the moment - so I don't love him yet... but yeah, I definitely want to be already in a serious committed relationship that will lead to marriage. No problem I counted the number of degrees from Jupiter to the descendant. Jupiter is your ruler, and descendant is your partner. But I'm not sure if that's how it works. :/ ------------------

For timings you look at the moon. It will sextile his ruler, mercury, in 15 time units without leaving the current sign.Moon is in fixed sign, cadent house, it's 15 years.

I hope it's not 15 years! I've never heard that timing is when moon will sextile his ruler... I did read somewhere that in order to decide whether the units are days, weeks, years you should look at past event on the horary and see whether that was weeks, months etc

No, it's when moon will apply aspect, doesn't matter if it's a sextile or any other.Here's an article on timing:
